It was an absolute pleasure to receive wishes from Sourav Ganguly on the 16th Foundation Day of IISM. On behalf of our students, faculty, and the entire team, we express our heartfelt gratitude for his warm wishes. Sourav Ganguly truly exemplifies leadership and has imparted invaluable lessons that extend far beyond cricket into management and science. His approach reflects key principles such as leadership, analytical thinking, risk assessment, critical decision-making, and crisis management, to name a few. From leading the Indian cricket team with distinction as captain to successfully heading the Board of Control for Cricket in India as President, his journey is a testament to visionary leadership. He continues to don multiple hats across global and national cricketing platforms, including the International Cricket Council, BCCI, and the Indian Premier League. Receiving wishes from such a doyen makes the entire IISM family immensely proud. Thank you Dada we are eternally grateful ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™ #IISM #IISMFoundationDay #16thFoundationDay #SouravGanguly #Dada [Leadership, Sports Leadership, Cricket Leadership, Sports Management, Sports Education, Sports Industry, Future Of Sports, Gratitude, Proud Moment, Inspiration, Visionary Leadership, Indian Cricket, BCCI, ICC, IPL, Sports Careers, Sports Professionals, Sports Students, Sports Excellence, Leadership Lessons Sports Science] by @iismworld
"Itโ€™s in the lows that you actually learn, because He has better plans & He will make everything beautiful at the right time!" - Words from our Chief Guest & Indian Women Cricketer Ms. Jemimah Rodrigues at IISM's Degree Distribution Ceremony 2026! Reflecting on her journey from a 17-year-old India debutant to World Cup glory, she inspired our young graduates with some of the most inspiring anecdotes from her life & career. That exclusion from the 2022 ODI World Cup, the mental & sporting grind she undertook in the maidaans of Mumbai, and the redemption of the 2025 ODI World Cup, which was encapsulated beautifully via her headline knock of 127 not out in the semi-final against Australia โ€” Jemimah sailed through all of it via 'Endurance'. It was a fabulous address to our Graduating Batch of 2025 as Jemimah inspired all our young grads to keep pushing & just show up because life gives you what you are meant for! #convocationday #iism #sportseducation #careerinsports #degreedistributionceremony by @iismworld
