Hosting These Retreats Is a Dream! 🌿🌈

Beloveds… it’s official. In JULY 2026, I’ll be guiding the AWAKEN Retreat at the wildly magical queer haven known as Qasa, and my whole body is humming with yes.

There’s something about Qasa — this lush Costa Rican sanctuary where the jungle breathes with you — that feels like stepping into a living prayer. It’s intentional. It’s heart-forward. It’s deliciously liberating. A place where your soul remembers itself the moment your feet touch the earth.

Here we drop into ceremony, somatic aliveness, ecstatic connection, community devotion, and the kind of nature that whispers, “Beloved… you were never anything but whole.”

This retreat is pure awakening wrapped in beauty.

The Awaken retreat (July 26th - August 1st) is a journey of sacred plant ceremonies, embodiment practices, queer community, and epic nature - all to unlock self-awareness, deepen personal exploration, and remember who you truly are.

In addition to my retreat, Qasa hosts a vibrant calendar of experiences throughout the year - including Awaken Retreats, sacred plant medicine journeys; Unleash Retreats, embodied pleasure and intimacy retreats; and Explore Retreats, Out and Wild nature adventures for the queer soul.

✨ End-of-year offering:
Book by Dec 31 and receive $500 toward any 2026 retreat.
Comment GIFT and the Qasa team will share everything you need to know.
I’d love to welcome you into one of these circles next year. 🌿✨

ASH RUIZ @illusionslicer MASTER. WORD. SMITH. with a WORD. A PRAYER. AN INCANTATION. WHEW. close your eyes and listen with your whole body. 💜 by @illusionslicer

Yes, I’m celebrating this beautiful blue wave! 💙🌊 And I’m also holding the vision of a future where we evolve beyond the limitations of a two-party system into something far more inclusive, compassionate, and representative of the magnificent diversity of humanity. A system that truly serves the well-being of ALL.

There is so much more possible for us as a species. And today, I’m celebrating this step in that direction. Joy joy joy! Congratulations loves! 😭😭😭

YAY, HUMANITY! 💙🩵💙🩵💙

My jam has always been inviting people to recognize and live from the infinite, boundless, indescribable freedom that is our true nature. 💫💖

And when one of your best friends happens to be the extraordinary astrologer @debrasilverman_astrology you can’t help but absorb a little celestial wisdom by osmosis! 😂✨ I even completed Level One of her astrology school, and along the way, I’ve fallen in love with this ancient, magnificent language. This double Gemini Capricorn rising is obsessed!

What a wondrous gift astrology is! A cosmic tapestry of archetypes, energies, possibilities, and expressions through which the universe gets to experience and discover itself.

And what a delicious paradox! The stars may illuminate the particularities of our human expression, while awakening reveals the immeasurable freedom in which every constellation, personality, and possibility arises.

This poem came through as I playfully contemplated how each zodiac sign might approach non-duality, awakening, and the recognition of our essential nature.

I’d LOVE to hear from you! What’s your sun, moon and rising? How has your astrological chart reflected, informed, or accompanied your own awakening? What celestial influences have you noticed along the way? 🌌♊️💖✨ by @illusionslicer

Thank you Engender! My heart is overflowing with gratitude and love! 🌈💛✨

What a beautiful evening celebrating community, creativity, connection, and the extraordinary work of Queer Asterisk and the beloved souls who make it all possible.

It was such an honor to share my song We Are the Thread, to celebrate the beauty, resilience and magic of the queer community and to join the fabulous King Lexie for a little Dolly Parton tribute with Islands in the Stream! 🎶💃🏽

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Freeda, Soren, RP, King Lexie, Sway, Evelyn, Chris, Sky, Judith, Lynn Israel, ShawnT and her amazing dancers, the camera beloved, the sound guys and every beautiful human who brought their hearts to this gathering.

And Freeda! What a gift to witness your collective art creation, months in the making, come alive through the hands, hearts, and intentions of our community. Such a gorgeous expression of what becomes possible when we create together.

So much love for the work Queer Asterisk does in supporting, celebrating, and empowering our queer community. What an honor to be part of this beautiful family.

Diane Israel is beaming down and up and in every known and unknown direction with such gratitude and warmth! Her presence and joy filled the room last night! 🥹

We are the thread. We are the weaving. We are the love that keeps on breathing. 🧵🌈✨🥰💗🩵💗🩵💗🩵

Here’s to love, liberation, belonging, and all the delicious ways we get to weave this human tapestry together!

LOVE YOU, BELOVEDS! 💛✨
