He viajado a 74 países.

The advice founders repeat to each other is often the advice keeping them stuck. 🎯

Save this for your next fundraise prep. by @ilonaonthemoney

I’m not counting the number of turns around the sun any more, but grateful for yet another one.

Thankful to those who have followed me for 5 years, 5 months, or 5 hours. You’ve brought more joy to my days than I could ever have hoped for. Earlier this year I set a goal to reach 5k followers by the end of the summer… let’s see how close I get!

Yes this is my annual birthday song because @souljaboy and I share the exact same birthday and year 🤠

No family money. Just a paycheck and a lot of boring choices.

I rented a regular apartment, mostly stopped eating out, paid off my credit card, kept extra savings in a high-yield account, and watched Redfin for prices and comps. None of it is exciting. All of it added up.

Which one are you already doing?

If you’re a founder tired of hearing “no” from investors, this is for you. Follow for more honest fundraising insights. by @ilonaonthemoney

I've bought 3 properties. I still made these 3 mistakes on this one.

I went with the first contractor, I didn't leave room for delays, and I didn't speak up right away when I saw an issue. Next time: three bids, a padded timeline, and I say something the same day.

What would you add?

My week with Shaq. Follow for pt 2 by @ilonaonthemoney

The paint is the least interesting thing about this house. The terracotta gets the compliments. The stucco repair got the budget.

Follow along for the rest of this house.

I bought the house on the block that looks haunted. Happy Halloween from the money pit.

Cracks across every wall, ceilings coming apart, a garage door with a padlock and a No Parking sign. It's not haunted. It's just 120 years old.

What's the scariest thing you've found in an old house?

Old House Series, no. 07. by @ilonaonthemoney

The scariest part of a 120-year-old house wasn't the house. It was the financing.

Draws, inspections, contingency. Every term made it feel bigger than it was. Then I ran the numbers, and they were right the whole time.

Not financial advice. Talk to a lender who does a lot of these loans.

Should I drop the hair care routine? by @ilonaonthemoney

Portland was a town before it was a Louisville neighborhood.

I want to know the history of the place I'm working on, and I want you to know it too. If your family has history here, I'd love to hear it in the comments.
