Segundo concierto del ciclo de conciertos de piano INTERVALS ✨

Gracias a @nabil_nair y Alejandro de Antonio por regalarnos una velada de escucha profunda, improvisación y encuentro a través de la música.

El concierto contó con la presencia del artista invitado @juno.sibling y con las intervenciones espontáneas de @tanit.navarro y @alayawolf.art , recordándonos la belleza de cuando la creación espontánea se convierte en un diálogo vivo.

Gracias también a @ilyas_ennassiri por compartir tu exposición ‘Somos agua’, generando un vínculo sutil entre la imagen, la música y los cuerpos.

Se acerca el 2° concierto del ciclo

Alejandro y Nabil invitan a un encuentro íntimo y contemplativo, donde se sumergen en la composición colectiva en tiempo real. A través de una escucha atenta y sutil, exploran la incertidumbre y la vulnerabilidad propias del acto creativo: la búsqueda de la belleza y, al mismo tiempo, la belleza que habita en esa búsqueda. La música nace del instante y de sus circunstancias, en un intercambio abierto y expansivo del que brota una rica paleta de timbres y resonancias, atravesada por lenguajes que dialogan con la música sacra y barroca, las tradiciones mediterráneas orientales, el minimalismo y el jazz.

💦 Además, durante la velada se podrá visitar la exposición de Ilyass Ennasiri (Marruecos, 1991): 'Somos agua', en la que explora el lenguaje del agua como metáfora del viaje y de la memoria migrante. Su obra, situada entre lo íntimo y lo político, entre el olvido y la revelación, convierte la fotografía en un umbral donde los silencios del mundo encuentran existencia.

PRESENTAMOS A LXS ARTISTAS QUE ESTARÁN PRESENTES EL DOMINGO 12 DE ABRIL:

🧿 Ilyas Ennassiri (Asilah, Marruecos, 1991) es fotógrafo conceptual y experimental y director de cine. Su obra parte de las huellas mínimas —manchas, grietas y sombras— para explorar la memoria, el olvido y la transformación.
Su práctica convierte la fotografía en un gesto de resistencia y revelación, dando forma a lo que suele permanecer invisible.
En su trabajo reciente investiga el agua como metáfora del viaje y la memoria. Su obra se sitúa entre lo íntimo y lo político, donde los silencios encuentran imagen. by @labcultural.barcelona

Exposition and Performance

Our investigation is a metamorphosis, catalyzed by the first drop to have ever ignited life on this planet. What are the many faces of water that dually provide us with a reflection of ourselves? Water which creates, water which nourishes us, water which hugs us in its soothing warmth, water which divides us, water which destroys us, water which dries up, and water which is used to manipulate and control.
This exposition and performance directed by Ilyas Ennassiri and Anya Adorni, consists of the participation of five artists. Ilyas, photographer, will be focusing on the different states and messages of water. Anya, oil painter, will be presenting a series of three paintings delving into water’s guiding hand within our subconscious with a piano composition of hers that will accompany Enric Lizano, dancer and performer, who will be narrating the Memory of Water through his movements. Fenna Kosfeld’s light works will be displayed throughout the space, consisting of carbonized bones and fired earth (ceramics), materializing life, decay and the transformative forces of water and earth intertwined. Lastly, we have a biologist turned artist, Sylvie Fraley, who by means of naturally dyed and wet felted Catalan wool, will be representing how water defies gravity in plants. Through our artistic intersection we hope to create a portal into a multi-sensorial performance and exhibition that highlights our fundamental connection, history and identity to the water and earth we call home.

Recently, the Mexican artist based in Texas,
©veronica_ibarguengoitia_art, proposed that we collaborate with her. In her artistic work, the reflection on the human being in migration processes plays a central role.
This summer she was researching this subject in one of the services of ©pereclavergrup, of which Dar Chabab is also a part.
In her next installation, she will be able to reflect on the paths that migrants take and the dangers to which they are exposed.
She asked us to collect sand from the beach to symbolize the passage through the sea.
I asked my partner for help so that the act of collecting the earth could become a symbol for our children.
And taking a step further, continuing to work with the earth, but now as a symbol of “welcoming land.” This tile is a first approximation to show our children what we are going to do.
Using soil from a town near Barcelona, dye the tile, and tangle it on top to symbolize the fact of growing, flourishing and taking root in this land that will be your new land by @labcultural.barcelona
