🍂🍁Some patterns become more than china—they become part of our story.🍁🍂 This pattern is a favorite for many reasons, but the friendship it represents for our group of Austin Instagram tabletop is at the very top of my list! @roxannemwilde and I originally fell in love with a Spode India Tree post by @robins_plated_passions several years ago. Soon after, Roxy found this @by_spode pattern at an estate sale in Carmel. When she traveled to Austin for a visit, she carefully packed a gorgeous set of cream soup bowls and under plates as a gift for me! After spending time together that weekend, our Austin group all decided to adopted her! We have all continued to collect, give and receive pieces of this versatile pattern. And now @sjpa48 @decorbyseason and newly adopted @thetablescaper have all joined the Austin India Tree fan club. Please scroll through to see how I’ve styled my collection, both by itself and mixed it other patterns. I hope you fall in love with it too!! by @imaginary_dinner_parties

🍂🍁 A Spode India Tree Event — Dish Sister’s Official China Pattern 🍁🍂 Some patterns become more than china—they become part of our story.🍂 With its exotic tree, delicate blossoms, and birds nestled among the branches, 🍂India Tree reflects the long-standing European fascination with Asian-inspired design. Spode introduced the pattern in the early 19th century, and its timeless botanical beauty has continued to inspire table lovers ever since. Today, our Dish Sisters bring India Tree to life in our own individual ways—Different tables, different stories… but one beautiful thread connecting us all: the joy of gathering around a table. 🤎 Because what makes a beautiful table even more special is the friendship gathered around it. 🤎 Our pattern. 🍂🍁 A Spode India Tree Event — Dish Sister’s Official China Pattern 🍁🍂 My dish cupboard only holds a set of salad plates in the iconic India Tree pattern, a gift from my Dish Sister, Roxy. It is perfect for autumn with its striking orange/ rust colors. The historical design was inspired by an early textile from India. I paired it with the modern feel of Courtly Check rimmed in gold, and dinners from Williams-Sonoma in Plymouth Gate Rim to lend a contemporary feel with the geometric border. The octagonal chargers are from MacKenzie-Childs MacLachlan collection. The bold black and white checks and distinctive twisted purple and green border offer interest and contrast to the ruffled Courtly Check. It all reflects sophistication without looking too formal. Some patterns become more than china—they become part of our story.🍂 With its exotic tree, delicate blossoms, and birds nestled among the branches, 🍂India Tree reflects the long-standing European fascination with Asian-inspired design. Spode introduced the pattern in the early 19th century, and its timeless botanical beauty has continued to inspire table lovers ever since. 🍂🍁 A Spode India Tree Event — Dish Sister’s Official China Pattern 🍁🍂 Can you imagine how special a pattern has to be - to be unanimously selected as the official China pattern of our dish-loving group. This pattern has won our hearts and though it works year-round and matches and mixes gorgeously with others it reigns during autumn. It’s definitely an 🍂 Autumn. Our tables. Our little Austin based tablescape community with our loved honorary members from California and New York. @imaginary_dinner_parties @roxannemwilde @robins_plated_passions @sjpa48 @thetablescaper @decorbyseason Today I’ve mixed it with my favorite Imari dinner plates. Spode’s India Tree pattern 🍂@spodeus was inspired by the rich decorative tradition of Imari porcelain, particularly the colorful Japanese and Chinese export wares that were highly fashionable in Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries. The connection is especially visible in: * Cobalt blue, iron red, and gold — classic Imari colors. * Ornamental florals and foliage arranged in dense, decorative compositions. * Exotic botanical imagery, reflecting Europe’s fascination with Asian porcelain. * The overall ornate, collected look that makes India Tree so wonderful for tablescaping. Our tables may be set in Texas, but their inspiration travels far beyond. Spode India Tree, 🍁with its jewel-like palette of cobalt blue, iron red and gold, reflects the enduring influence of Imari and the European love affair with Asian porcelain. Perhaps that is by @imaginary_dinner_parties
🍂🍁 A Spode India Tree Event — Dish Sister’s Official China Pattern 🍁🍂 Roxy @roxannemwilde, realized long before I did, that I didn’t have Spode India Tree dishes, so she gifted them to me 🥰 Some patterns become more than china—they become part of our story.🍂 With its exotic tree, delicate blossoms, and birds nestled among the branches, 🍂India Tree reflects the long-standing European fascination with Asian-inspired design. Things are starting to happen fast at The Pinecone Phoenix!! The back deck has been installed and shower pans are finishing up this week. Next week, the flooring will be installed. Yesterday, I received an Amazon purchase that totally blew away my expectations. This house will not be a cookie cutter white or beige if i can help it. After my husband retired last December, I asked him if he really needed a home office since he will be spending most of his time in Alto on the golf course. He wholeheartedly supported my idea of creating a Mahjong or Game room. Our family will all enjoy hours of games and puzzles here. I purchased the wash stand at an antique store in Floresville, Texas for the vanity. Then I found this vessel sink on Amazon for a bargain and boy do the online pictures NOT do it justice! I cant wait to see this room come together. #mahjong #gameroom #bathroomdesign #mountainhome #designinspiration by @imaginary_dinner_parties
We are excited to get to see the progress on our home and meet with the builders this week!! Picking out flooring today. Much cooler temperatures in the mountains with a daily monsoon bringing afternoon showers. Hoping to approve wall texture and exterior stone before we leave. 🤗🤗🤗 by @imaginary_dinner_parties
An Evening with Family Every decision was made to make this event feel like an evening with family, comfortable and not over done. Every detail was intentional from the ceremony under the Cross built by the bride’s father, cutest flower grandmother of the bride, to eating off the our family’s personal dish collections, with the meal served family style. HUGE shoutout to @ascimeca24 Angela Scimeca, @omnibartoncreek Director of Catering Sales, who understood our vision and made it possible to pivot locations seamlessly with 2 days notice when rain became imminent. The Pavilion was the perfect choice and backdrop that looked like it had been the plan all along! Okay i have a little confession…I turned into a ‘tablezilla’ last weekend. Truly, there are very few outside of my tabletop community that would have noticed any difference. But tables are my passion and this was honestly the biggest non-imaginary dinner party I had ever thrown. In the end, I stopped fussing over the small details, knowing no one would notice or care about them; I put down my camera, didn’t take any photos and remained in the moment for this special night. We’ve lost count of all the compliments from friends, family and even vendors and staff. It was an amazing evening indeed!!
