Just a girl from CLE with a story for the world.
POSTS STORIES REELS
I had the pleasure of meeting @repshontel in 2011 when she became the newest member to Warrensville Heights City Council. She shared a moving story about how she beat her opponent by just 7 votes. Since that time, she’s gone on to fight for and earn the titles of County Councilwoman, becoming the FIRST African American and FIRST woman to represent the @cuyahogadems and now U.S Congresswoman! These photos don’t begin to describe the warm hugs, big laughs, and life lessons you’ve imparted. I’m forever grateful to witness the heights you continue to reach and honored to be apart of the ride! Congratulations on another successful election and 5 years in Congress 💙🥳 #ShontelBrown5Years #OH11 by @imaniedwards

On February 3rd, I filed my petition to run for Central Committee within the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party. Between now and Election Day on May 5, I’ll continue knocking on doors, meeting my neighbors, and better understanding the needs of downtown Cleveland to hopefully earn their support and win this (small but important) election. This is for the little girl, inspired by her mom’s commitment to serving her community. This is for Kimmie. This is for anyone who dares to dream… get in the game! If you live in northeast Ohio and want to volunteer please send me a dm!! 📸: @toki_nojap 💋: @youniquebeautyby_yan by @imaniedwards
I think she’s got a master plan 🥀 by @imaniedwards
What we did at the National Day of Empowerment went way beyond vision boards. We sat down and actually imagined our 2026 with intention. We had real conversations about identity, money, policy, culture, and what it means to build something that reflects who we are. Different visions all sharing the same purpose: create a future that feels aligned, confident, and ours. 📸: @drew_620 by @imaniedwards

Still on cloud 9!! Extremely grateful to have served as the keynote speaker for the 2025 New Student Convocation. Ohio University welcomed its largest freshman class and I am thankful to be a part of that history. #GoBobcats 💚 by @imaniedwards
