A dream come true: I earned my wings! 🪽

Now that I’ve had a couple of days to process all the emotion, excitement, and craziness, I’m so excited to announce that I accomplished a huge dream: becoming a flight attendant!

The last six and 1/2 weeks felt like an eternity and the blink of an eye all at once. I’m so grateful for the connections I made in training. Before I left home, flight attendants told me that I would become close with my classmates, but I had no idea just how right they were—these classmates are my family now. To the amazing people who got me through all the tests, drills, and late night study sessions (which sometimes involved more laughing and pointing at planes from the roof than actual studying)—thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

I also want to thank my support system back home for encouraging me to chase this scary dream. You reassured me when I didn’t know if I could do it, and that support means the world. Mom, Dad, Reese, and Jax: I love you guys!

Last but certainly not least, I want to thank the amazing instructors who helped our class reach the skies! We were so lucky to have a team of instructors who went above and beyond each day, equipping us with knowledge and making us feel confident before every test and drill. (And thank you for at least pretended to laugh at our dumb girt bar jokes that I’m sure you’ve heard a million times! 🤣) We will make you proud out there!

Here’s to many years of lighting up the skies and seeing the world. Class 26-09 Ruby forever! ❤️✈️

Memories from 2025. Happy New Year! 🎆

2025 was a hard year, but many great things happened, too. I moved to a new city, saw one of my best friends for the first time in years, traveled to new and old places, and took on challenging new opportunities—and they paid off.

It was so special to celebrate my birthday a little early by seeing my favorite artist, Brandi Carlile, at Red Rocks! And this year, I got to experience the magic with two of my favorite people. ❤️

With the parking lot jam circle, the lovely openers @allisonponthier and @ilovelucius, and hearing Letter to the Past and Downpour—two of my favorite songs—back to back, it was a perfect day.

Brandi’s music and story mean a whole lot to me, and I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday night. Even if it means being at the Denver airport at 4 AM the next morning. 😉 Until next year! 🌄
