For anyone who knows me, saying high school was a hard journey is probably the most understatements of the understatements. There genuinely needs to be a Netflix show written on these past four years. Or maybe I should write a book about it..but we’re getting off track. But I did that a lot these past years, didn’t I? I lost my way, found it, lost it again, found it and ignored it, looked for it and couldn’t even get the energy to get out of bed and walk it. Yet I did it. With my sister, my cousins & my best friends being some of my biggest supporters I walked across a stage finally starting the moment of my life. If I could thank God for anything, it’s for not letting me try to stop writing my story no matter how hard I tried too. I kept throwing away the pen. Shutting the typewriter. Ripping out the pages. Anything possible just to end my story because I was so tired of writing it. And yet, everytime he picked me back up and put me right back in the chair and held me as I cried and continued writing. Continued living. Thank you everyone, friends, teachers, faculty, OPPs (yes even them) for giving me the life lessons I’ll never forget. And thank you, yes you, for taking the time to read this…for whatever reason (🤨. You working for the feds??). Onto the next chapter, and hopefully you’ll be apart of every step.
