Seun Ajimoko MS, JD, cum laude. The fact that I can take these pictures depict my faith, God’s favor, and my testimony.    In 2018, I applied to Howard Law and was denied. I took the loss on the chin because, to be quite honest I didn’t deserve the spot. So I put my head down and tried my absolute best in the next application cycle. I went to grad school, retook the LSAT, worked in the government, and applied again. My LSAT score improved so I was sure this time would be a yes. Well, it wasn’t. I looked at my rejection in sheer disbelief in December 2018. I distinctly remember holding that rejection letter and thinking, “No, God has a plan. This cannot be,” to the point that I questioned my sanity for half a second. Miraculously, I got my acceptance letter in January 2019; thank you to the angel who advocated on my behalf. From that moment onward, I was DETERMINED to be among the best because God sent someone to turn my “no” into a “yes,” and I had to rise to the occasion by doing my part. Well, today, I can confidently say I did precisely that. I am graduating from Howard Law, and in my time, I was able to:   ✅Graduate with honors  ✅Howard Law Journal ✅Executive position on the Howard Law Journal ✅Executed one of the most significant events at Howard Law  ✅Student Attorney in the Investor Justice Education Clinic  ✅Teaching Assistant  ✅1L Summer job at a law firm ✅2L Summer job at a law firm ✅Post graduate position at the BEST law firm to practice in Life Sciences and Regulatory Compliance (hello big girl job 🤩)   Keep in mind that I started my final year EIGHT WEEKS after giving birth. Anyone who has had a child knows the drastic changes that accompany these decisions in the immediate six months to a year—but pushing through this life event, despite still being in school and not using my unique circumstance as a reason not to accomplish His plan for me? Wow.    (continued in comments below) by @in_my_vicinity

Swipe to see what I saw. This the best part of the song fr. Thank you to my mother for my cheekbones. Bestie. Look at the definition. Am I talking about my arms or twist out? You decide. This is probably my best twist out ever. This video was justified. I’m really appreciating my hair journey. Just like the song says. Ok bye. by @in_my_vicinity
