Thank you to everyone who signed our petition to make Gabi the goat the armoured titan!

Video is of attack on titan cosplayers in Porco and Gabi, blonde hair, brown wig, doing a dance with Porco being disappointed and pushing Gabi. Porco is in a dark jacket and light pants and Gabi is in a white top and black dress

“BUT YEAH, NOT A FAN OF VIOLENCE.
I’M ALL ABOUT LOVE AND PEACE!”

——————————————————

Literally over the moon about this cosplay and how it turned out! The color scheme is meant to be the based on a manga coloring that used the same palette as opposed to the anime’s coloring; more unique and vibrant this way. I originally made it for CSC as a way to get myself back into gear and it was a hit for sure (although eager to fall apart whenever it felt like it lmao). Wasn’t planning on wearing it for ComicCon 2026 right off the bat, but man am I glad I did🙏.

Tried to incorporate a lot of outside inspo for the shoot and also push the “Arai is Galgalli” narrative wherever I could, and I think it turned out fantastic! Was a fun shoot, however the only thing I’d say WASN’T FUN was the lens fogging up the whole time I was there (or one of them popping out at the end of the shoot 😭). BUT AS YOU CAN SEE we made the most of it! Thank you again for your hard work @chell.creates always a pleasure!

I think going forward, this’ll become one of my staple “casual cosplays” for cons so 👀👀👀 keep an eye out for more Violence.

7 DAYS UNTIL FANEXPO ‘25 (And 14 days until a full year passes since my last post… oops 👀🫣)

Been fighting with myself for quite some time to make a proper post with Tia Safalin since I first made/wore her back in March to no avail. Maybe insecurity, maybe procrastination, maybe the fact my bra strap is visible in like 90% of any photos taken of me through the whole con 😭.

REGARDLESS, after much much time contemplating, I felt inspired looking back on @kerokurino ‘s panel at Pretty Heroes last month to give her the proper treatment she deserves after all this time (thank you btw genuinely). No more stalling, EVEN IF I’M CON CRUNCHING 🫵👁️👁️

I’d say this was the first time I went above and beyond for doing any sort of Crossplay; even making the dress from scratch with my own measurements and patterning. The biggest feat I achieved was most certainly making Safalin’s cream soda hat from the bottom up with my first real return to EVA Foam and Clay since 2023! Definitely learned a lot especially from other panels and instructions I got from a handful of different individuals (thank you all so SO very much 🙏)

Even if it wasn’t perfect in the way I wanted her to be, the amount of positive reception I got with her the whole convention was amazing. Even families taking photos with their kids who had no clue who I was supposed to be were super excited to see what I had made and had nothing but positive things to say about my costume. Truly a liberating feeling towards my affinity and comfortability in Crossplay; it’s a support I never had before since I started. Excited to see where it goes from here on out!

As for the possibility of more YTTD cosplays in the near forseeable future, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see 🤭. Until then, enjoy the Queen girlfailure herself!

(I’m so sorry this didn’t come out for so long 😭)

“Ha ha ha. Don’t sweat the details. I’m the master of the room. You can call me Meister.“

——————————————————

Man oh man, this was a unique time at FanExpo for SURE! I don’t know how, but following a scuffed attempt in March and a completely DESTROYED sewn mask for FX24, I somehow worked a way around cosplaying and bringing this fool to life! AND IT LOOKS PRETTY DAMN GOOD I’D SAY! I had such a lovely time at the Sunday YTTD meetup (hosted by @snacck_box) and seeing everyone else’s cosplays made me glad to see there’s still such a wide spread and involved fandom for this game.

And what better time to post these photos of the main man himself than on the 7TH ANNIVERSARY OF YTTD ITSELF!

EVERYONE SAY “THANK YOU NANKIDAI!”

Didn’t think I’d ever get so into the game myself outside of being told bits and pieces by a handful of friends. But after chatting to @chell.creates about it last year and being convinced to give it a try, it’s easily one of my favorite VN-style games of all time! But now I find myself recommending it to everyone I talk to about it 😂 THE CYCLE CONTINUES. So genuinely, thank you Chell for getting me into a game that’s become such a big hyper fixation of mine overtime (as well as taking these wonderful photos of my cosplay, it truly means a lot 😊)! I’m hoping our summoning circle at FanExpo brings that trailer or ANY SLIGHT CRUMB OF AN UPDATE soon enough 🙏🙏🙏

And thank you to everyone else I ran into on Sunday who complimented me on this Slenderman/Hitman/Hush/“MEISTER GOD DAMN IT” cosplay! I’m glad everyone liked it and I hope to bring him back again soon enough! Frankly if I’m the first Meister cosplay on this app, I’ll happily take that title 😁. Overall a pretty good weekend with great friends and great entertainment for all the days I was there! I’m excited to see you all again soon enough!

Anime North 2024 for me was an ongoing mixture of emotions from convention centre to hotel room, but holy hell I would not even MAYBE change it for a minute. All the last minute late night wig making and lacking of sleep mean nothing after the fantastic experiences I had, especially on the Sunday at the Danganronpa photoshoot (hosted by the @snacck_box team)!

Everyone was so supportive and kind to one another, people were vibing together over the littlest things, and it made the whole thing feel like one massive fandom get together for the first time in a long time. On top of that, I received many compliments and positive words of encouragement towards the newest Kazuichi Souda jumpsuit I had created for the convention, so thank you everyone for the kind words and affirmations! 😁I’m proud to see how far I’ve come, and all of YOUR cosplays were phenomenal too, so DON’T YOU FORGET IT! 🫵

I may still be bummed out about my original group not all being able to make it to Anime North this year (for GENUINE VALID REASONS SO NO WORRIES ♥️♥️♥️), but I am truly very happy about the friendships I’ve made and strengthened this time around, and wouldn’t change them for the world. It was lovely meeting all of you and I do hope to see your faces and catch up again soon enough! 🙏

And lastly, one special honourable mention to my friend and partner in the Soudanidai duo of crime: @allentheexairman (a.k.a @foamhandsoap ). I’m glad you made it to this event, even when no one else could this time around! You were an absolute blast to be around and I’m proud to see how far you’ve come in cosplay! Much love as always homie, can’t wait to see you again! 🔥

Here’s to another successful Anime North! Thanks for everything party people, now enjoy the photos! ♥️😁

“What’s the matter Sara? How’s it feel to have my card? No worries… It’s not like that card means you definitely die, y’know.

‘Course, you did kill me…”

———————————————

This was such a big step of a cosplay for me to do I’m surprised it pulled off in any way (until you know, my eye piece kept falling off 😭). The amount of people who didn’t even know who I was stopping me for photos and compliments on my way to the con was astounding, like I was something from Halloween Haunt walking the streets. It was certainly a fantastic experience wearing this cosplay around and getting the reactions that I did. I’ll certainly be improving on this cosplay in the future, but for such a last second wrap-up, I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

And these phenomenal shots and edits here more than speak for themselves thanks to the fantastic individual who brought the true essence of this cosplay to life credited below go look rnrn)! I didn’t give much to work with since this character is heavily reliant on another character’s interactions, but they more than made it work! This’ll be a cosplay to remember for a long time! 😁

“Even I can’t handle these intense vibrations! And trust me, I’ve got LOADS of experience!”

———————————————

I never thought; with the amount of trouble this cosplay gave me, that it would turn out to look like anything special. And yet, I’ve been left stunned with just how well it worked out for the convention AND this fantastic photoshoot! Never done one before FanExpo where I was actually MODELING, but that’s certainly going to change going forward from the amount of confidence it’s given me to step out from behind the camera and into the range finder for a change!

Hell doing a walk-on for the cosplay Grand Prix was already a MASSIVE step out of my comfort zone for sure. Now seeing these lovely photographs done by such a talented photographer (see below rnrnrn), I can certainly get used to this 😁! Expect to see more like this in the (not so distant) future!

“I could start spouting about some real techno babble, but you idiots wouldn’t get it!”

Behold, only a sneak preview of my most troublesome cosplay in my first ever year. Made it work the best I could but I’ll definitely have to take a crack at (him) again!

Expect some real class act professional photos coming in the near future 😏⚙️

“I’m just your friendly neighbourhood policeman.”

First real day of FanExpo already off to a great start with this cosplay. Never expected it to turn out this good truth be told, but this is probably the best one I’ve done so far next to Souda. Here’s to hoping my other two cosplays turn out just as good as well!

“Don’t go doubting Ms. Sonia you cretin! I’ll put you and your hamsters 6 feet under!”

I never thought it’d be possible but this is an achievement to be strewn about the stars man. MY FAV CHARACTER LOOKS SO GOOD ON ME HOLY HELL I’M GONNA CRY!

See you soon for Day 3 Anime North!
