Every artist carries a crowd within.

Hilma af Klint. Subodh Kerkar. Amrita Sher-Gil. Peggy Guggenheim. Lee Krasner. And beside them, faces that belong to no museum, yet carry the same storms.

In People of Art, @ambypaints turns her brush toward the painters, patrons and kindred spirits who shaped her way of seeing. Nineteen portraits, painted swiftly, colour before line. Not just likenesses, but meetings: one artist's gaze held up to another's.

When in it’s full glory and exhibition becomes more than the sum of it’s parts - each artwork shining in it’s own glory and becoming a part of the overall symphony of splendour!

An evening celebrating a lifetime devoted to art.
It was a privilege to be a part of the art exhibition, “Gratitude” by the 97-year-old master artist Shri Banshidhar Pratihary Ji at IGNCA, New Delhi, along with the launch of Brush with Brilliance by Anupam Pratihary.
Surrounded by stalwarts such as Jatin Das, Prayag Shukla, and Aashima Mehrotra, the evening was a reminder that great art transcends time, carrying forward stories, traditions, and quiet brilliance across generations.
A memorable celebration of India’s artistic legacy.

Stepping into the world of Gurudev today.
Spending the evening at the National Gallery of Modern Art to celebrate the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore was a a moment to celebrate his creative fluidity.
As a curator, it’s always moving to see how his ‘instinctive’ lines still challenge and inspire our modern perspective.
A truly beautiful celebration of a soul that refused to be boxed in.

In conversation with Jayant K—artist, poet, and India’s Ambassador to Spain.

As curator, it has been a deeply engaging process to translate his expansive and diverse practice into a spatial experience.

This dialogue offers a glimpse into that journey—of shaping meaning, context, and resonance.

At the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco- a journey of stories, spirit, and shared heritage…

Honoured to be part of @lara_lakshmi and @varar ‘s beautiful Journey & Exile, bringing together voices of some of India’s most compelling artists—each sari a passage, a memory unfolding.

Grateful for the trust, the collaborations, and the quiet magic of art that connects us across geographies and time.

This is not just a collection—it is a living dialogue.
