Lakeside, is under my needle. I am hand stitching this project. I’m using big stitching and the designs are circles. I’m using the hoop and when I get tired of it, I’ll ease it off and work without it. I’m using #8 perel cotton thread. #designsbysonij by @indigo6g
Annual Seafood Thanksgiving Dinner. This year at the Sea Shore Restaurant on City Island. The food was delicious and the restaurant wasn’t crowded. Crab cakes, Cajun Salmon, Chilean Sea bass, and Jumbo Crab legs and Baby Back ribs were the order of the day. #seashorerestaurantandmarina by @indigo6g
“Lakeside” top is finished. There was a fat quarter bundle of Kaffe Fassett fabric that I saw on line that called my name so loud I had to answer. You know how that goes. Anyway from that point on I was on a tear to create a quilt using this fabric. Next I auditioned fabric that I thought would make a great shashing. Found it on The Thousand Bolts website, dots! Next was the backing hat I located on the Missouri Star quilt site. When everything was purchased they were stored in a clear plastic project bag. It was great sitting down to my machine with my smooth jazz playing and I was in my own world. The pattern that I used I found on YouTube. I’m not adding a border, just a binding. Now to find some batting. #kaffefassettfabric #athousandbolts #missouristarquiltco by @indigo6g
