“History, huh? Bet we could make some.”

Alex Claremont-Diaz would be so proud 🥹

I don’t even live in Texas; I’m in Indiana but this and so many other results tonight have given me genuine HOPE for the first time in a long time.

So anyway, here’s an excuse for me to shout out my favorite romance book OF ALL TIME. (Iykyk)

I usually never make a monthly tbr because I’m such a chaotic mood reader but I really feel like I’ll stick to this!

Washwoman is our book club pick and I’m so excited to get started! Ease of Eden was supposed to be a buddy read with my mom but she didn’t wait for me and she’s already done 🤣

So far enjoying both of my current reads but not sure yet what the final verdict will be.

Do we have any in common for November??

👻Happy Halloween!!

It’s been a very eventful month! I read some great books, watched some great things, and had a lot of time to hang with friends and fam.

Now to hang around at home all day with my 5 and 8 year olds while they repeatedly ask how much longer until it’s time for trick-or-treating…then stay up late hopped up on sugar…oh and the time changes too 🫠
I will then proceed to exercise an enormous amount of restraint by NOT putting up the Christmas decor for at least a week….probably.

🎃 Anyway, tell me what you loved this month! 🎃

I finished A Court of Splintered Harmony and really enjoyed it! I had a lot of fun on Threads this morning seeing all the reactions and couldn’t help sharing. No theories here, just entertainment! 😎

Who else has finished?

‼️Please no spoilers in the comments‼️

If you’re in the mood for a serial killer mystery/thriller but also kind of a love story with fall vibes….have I got a book for you!

I couldn’t put this down! I was hooked from the first chapter and never looked back. I loved all the characters and definitely didn’t see all the twists coming.

This has been sitting on my shelf forever but I’m rarely in the mood for thrillers recently. But I’m so glad I picked this up! Another stellar book rec from @brandees.book.reviews 🤗

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Also excellent narration in this one 🎧

🍁 Is everyone surviving Halloween/ACOSH week? Because I’m tired 😆

Spent the weekend relaxing and reading fanfic, so here are a few I’ve been loving lately!

Rum & Coke is a must read for anyone who loves BAMF Shane who calls Ilya baby on the regular. So I mean, if you like that kinda thing, check that out 😍😮‍💨

Happy Monday!! What’s everyone reading today as we all anxiously await ACOSH tomorrow??

Not quite bookish but this turned out way cuter than I thought it would 🥹

I’d seen a few people send these questions to their significant others and thought I’d give it a try. We’re bad at sticking to directions though because the whole “one word answer” went out the window pretty quickly 😆

Happy Monday!! What’s everyone listening to today? Not necessarily an audiobook, but whatever is in your ears!
🎧🎶🗣️ I’ll be listening to All the Colors of the Dark! by @indy_bookwyrm

Shelfie Sunday!!

Believe it or not, I just got rid of an entire cart full of books last week so I’m trying to clean things up a bit. Still a little work to do but the middle shelves always make me so happy to look at 😍

📚What is everyone reading today? I’m still reading Dracula and This Wretched Alchemy. by @indy_bookwyrm

Who has ACOTAR theories??

Not me 🫣😆 I very much appreciate those who do come up with theories because my brain just can’t. I mean, I didn’t even solve Amarantha’s riddle so….

I haven’t done a reread since CC3 and couldn’t squeeze it in right now, so I’ll just be going into it for a good time! Honestly, as long as I get some badassery from Nesta and some sexual tension from Azriel (I don’t even care who with at this point) I’ll be happy.

I do plan on listening to a couple podcast episodes beforehand for a little refresher.

Oh and look at this cute little journal! Luckily my Target had some of the new ACOTAR merch out early so I grabbed this and a Starfall shirt 💫

Are you doing a reread before A Court of Splintered Harmony?

You may have seen bookstagram friends pulling books out of their refrigerators, but I thought it would be fun to pull our current reads out of our microwaves. I love that these ladies wanted to play along!

I will say the fridge has better lighting 😅

What are you currently reading? by @indy_bookwyrm

Marry someone who will read vampire books on the beach with you 🫶

Today we’ve officially been married 10 years! It’s been a nice little fall break with the kids. And some 🥂 later.

Swipe to see a couple pics from 10 years ago.
📸: @jaack_aattack was our amazing wedding photographer and now fellow heated rivalry fan (go check out her edits bc they’re awesome!)

QOTD: Have you gotten your spouse to read any of your favorite books?? He just started EotV but has also read all of ToG and the Empyrean series! 😍

Good news! I survived Threshing Day (the book and the virtual experience).

I may have the mind of a scribe, but I also have major FOMO and wanted a dragon. Swipe to see my red daggertail ♥️

Was that worth staying up until midnight for? Absolutely not. 🫣🤣 But it was cute and it’s fun to get into the spirit!

Anyway, I obviously loved reading Threshing Day and being back at Basgiath! I’m a vibes reader, so I’ll definitely be listening to @fantasyfangirlspod and in the near future to tell me about all the Easter eggs I missed 👀

What did everyone think of Threshing Day??
