Maybe you just need to find your way back to yourself 🌊🌺

I'm hosting this week with local surfer Rachid. We were both born and raised by the ocean, so this isn’t a week of ticking boxes on a schedule, It’s a way of life, and Ocean Calling is our way of sharing it with you

Expect yoga, surf, creativity, good food, new skills, new people and plenty of time in the water. Come to try new things, fall off your board, laugh about it, challenge yourself, slow down and see where the day takes you.

A week of salt on your skin, movement in your body, and a little more freedom

📍 Imsouane, Morocco
📅 10–17 April 2027

Hosting retreats reminds me of how much we truly need one another, not in some idealized way but in the real, honest, everyday sense

Where we show up a little messy, a little unsure, and slowly let ourselves be seen, sharing meals, conversations, silence, and the parts of ourselves we usually keep protected, realizing that growth feels different when it is witnessed rather than hidden

Kula, in yoga, means community, a chosen circle of people who hold space for one another, and it becomes something you can feel in the room, a quiet shift that happens when we breathe together, when someone’s truth opens something in someone else

When support appears without being asked, and when connection stops being an idea and becomes a lived experience that grounds us, softens us, and reminds us that we are not meant to carry everything alone

My retreats are built around exactly this, the community we create, the sharing that unfolds naturally, and the bonds that stay long after we leave

Do you want to give yourself space to feel this?

Tbt one year ago to this day! Never had so much fun surfing this wave like last year 🌺

In 11 years, I have been to this country 9 times, and I hope I can keep going back every year

2027 in Mexico again? by @inesrobimyoga

The longer I practise yoga, the more I realise that it's not always about doing more, pushing further or getting better at something.

I still love challenging myself, working towards difficult postures and having a consistent practice. But I've also learned that not every day needs to look the same. Some days I need to push a little, other days I need to slow down, adapt or simply let things be.

For me, discipline is also about knowing how to listen to my body, respecting where I am and understanding that progress isn't always about doing more. And knowing that being spiritual doesn't mean that I am in a box of pre determined behaviours. I get to understand what serves me, thats my roles as a practitioner. I get to create a space where others feel free to explore their ways, that's my role as a teacher.

Yoga is a lifelong practice, and hopefully, we're allowed to evolve along the way.

What is a yogic/wellness practice that you no longer holds onto? by @inesrobimyoga

My love-hate relationship with chest Openers drastically changed to only love after I started working on my shoulder mobility

Try these dynamic postures for about 8 each breaths each

Save this for later and repeat, repeat, repeat

It's always been about this 💪

A little piece of my heart stayed in Bahia 🤍

It’s always strange how a week can feel like a whole little lifetime, how people who were strangers just days before can suddenly feel like old friends, and how a place can become so special in such a short amount of time.

I keep thinking about all the little moments, the mornings together, the conversations around the table, the laughter, the walks to the shala, the ocean, the endless sharing, all the laughter and silly moments during surf and canoe and boat rides, and all the things that probably seemed so ordinary at the time but somehow already feel like memories I want to hold on to.

To everyone who came, thank you for trusting me with a little piece of your time and for bringing so much love, openness and life into this experience.

And to everyone who helped make it happen, the pousada staff, all the partners I worked with, thank you for being part of something that will stay with me for a long time.

I came here to create a space for others, but I’m leaving with so much of my own heart filled too. With things I’ve learned, moments I’ll keep coming back to, and a reminder of why I love doing what I do, even on the hard days.

There is something so beautiful about bringing people together and watching what happens when we slow down enough to really connect, with ourselves, with each other, and with the place we’re lucky enough to be in.

Already missing these days, these people, this little corner of the world.

Some experiences are hard to put into words, and maybe that’s how you know they meant so so much.

Obrigada, Bahia

Até breve 🤍 by @inesrobimyoga

Sometimes hard to believe that I get to work in places like this one 🤍🇧🇷

Less scrolling, more living 🌊

Imagine a week where you find a little more of yourself.Where the days are shaped by the waves, movement, good food, and the people around you.

This is Ocean Calling, our week in Morocco to surf, practise yoga, slow down and reconnect with what it feels like to be fully here, fully present, fully alive

Yoga has never been just about the shapes we make with our bodies.

At its roots are the yamas, the ethical foundations that guide how we move through the world and how we treat one another.

Because the practice doesn’t end when we roll up our mats. It lives in our choices, in our relationships, and in the care we extend to others, especially when we have nothing to gain from it.

May we always choose love, on and off the mat 🤍 by @inesrobimyoga
