to my favorite support system 🖤💛

I have been procrastinating this post because I did not know all the right things to say and I guess I still don’t. Whatever I say won’t equate to the countless phone calls answered, the countless texts I received, and the countless rides to every activity.

My family was such an important part of my purdue journey. I love you guys 🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤

Thanks for always showing up for me.

Another thank you goes out to those who are no longer with us. May you rest in love, you affect my daily life much more than you ever would’ve imagined. by @ingridowczarzak

EEES scared of BEES (ft. me laughing)

A big thank you to all my EEE baddies (iykyk) !! So thankful for this community ! An extra thank you to my senior roommate Hailey, you are going to do great things girlie. by @ingridowczarzak

EEE, hugging trees, and completing degrees

I graduated from Purdue University with my Bachelors in Environmental and Ecological Engineer this May! I am officially one degree hotter (lol).

My cords shown in these photographs are for passing my Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and for my participation in the Society of Women in Engineering.

I always tell the story that my journey on this path all started from a project my senior year of high school about accidental garbage truck pollution. Although I think the last slide of these photos show the real reason. Some of us are just happiest enjoying the environment, so if I can participate in a role that protects it I am honored.

May we always try to look kindly on creatures who are not as strong as us. A reminder to hug trees and smile lots!

As for the song happiness did hit me like a train on a track :) I have graduated a proud Boilermaker so Choo Choo, Boiler Up, and Hammer Down. 🖤💛

…with honors

I received my medal of achievement for completing the John Martisan Honors College curriculum while attending Purdue. I made many of my close friends that first year (Sydney is pictured in these slides) and owe who I am today to the challenges presented by this program.

Admittedly I did spend most of my time in first semester freshman honors engineering searching for other majors, because I lost the skill to believe in myself. I can confidently say at the end of my college journey, that I have gained that skill back. These photos represent a journey of a girl who didn’t give up on herself, and a system of support that didn’t give up on her either.

On a much more hilarious note enjoy finding me in the group photo and the evidence of my half hour long bloody nose mid ceremony. by @ingridowczarzak

senior sentimentals and stem

This year I took on the biggest project of my academic career. My senior design team worked with Microsoft to restructure cloud server supply chains and redefine data center sustainability. Thank you to my team members Hailey, Maera, and Josh for their contributions and passion put into this project (the picture of all of us would NOT format well into this post so I apologize for it being left off).

Included in this post are some photos from EEE senior design night! The first photo is of my core three that I have connected with throughout my time in EEE, these friendships shaped my experience throughout college into something truly memorable.

Happy last Wabash Sampling Blitz ! My senior design group the Microsoft team, participated in the blitz together this year. In one of these photos you can see my hash brown breakfast and in another a gorgeous river offshoot. Thank you to Hailey for taking photos of me during my round of sampling. If you still have semesters left at Purdue I would recommend this event ! It’s so freeing. EEE core lol

Engineered a great semester :)

Second to last semester. Had the pleasure of having my parents visit more than once this semester ! Took a few trips and had a lot of laughs. Two of these photos were taken on the same night lol and one is totally laughable. Purdue always reminds me of my brother Chase :) love ya dude.
