Honouring the wisdom of the female body
A gentle corner of the internet to land in

The power of pushing past your limiting beliefs and just choosing to show up and step into what makes you happy even when it feels scary. Growth often looks messy before it feels powerful. I wanted to share something that i am truly so passionate about for my first post and that is how I reduce stress in my life. I have learnt and been learning that stress doesn’t just effect your mind it effects your hormones, your cycle, your energy, your skin, your sleep and your whole body. Your cycle is often your bodies way of communicating that something needs more care, rest and balance. I’m so excited to share more of my journey finding balance within my body and my cycle and of course menstrual cycle awareness & experiences. So grateful you are here for the journey @ by @inherblooom
A small fragment of my brain and thoughts 𖦹 Maybe the strangest part of being human is how we all carry so much inside bodies that look so ordinary We walk around with whole worlds within us memories we don’t speak about grief we quietly carry and dreams we are still learning to name Sometimes it feels like we are travelling this life alone even though everyone else is searching too Carrying the weight of things we have lost the versions of ourselves we have outgrown the people we miss the moments we wish we could return to I wonder if this is the gift and beauty of being a women to feel the world so deeply to hold so much inside our hearts to be connected to the seasons of change to love fiercely to grieve deeply There is something beautiful and painful about having a heart that notices everything The smallest moments can break us open a memory a song a smell a goodbye And sometimes we wonder how everyone else keeps moving while we are still feeling everything But maybe this is what it means to be alive To lose to love to ache to heal to experience to just be To walk through this mysterious human experience with hearts that are constantly becoming And really we are never truly walking alone Every person we pass is carrying their own invisible grief & joy their own silent story their own search for meaning All of us just trying to find our way home inside this beautiful confusing temporary experience called being human Mia xx #poetry by @inherblooom
Excited to share more on this topic at some point and more into my own experiences with HBC but wanted to touch on some of this powerful conversation. Honouring your body means listening to what it needs. Whether you choose hormonal birth control or decide to come off it, your journey is your own. #hormonalbirthcontrol #womensempowerment by @inherblooom
To Be Woman To be woman is to be river and flame soft as moonlight wild as a storm that refuses to be tamed It is learning that gentleness is not weakness and that strength does not always roar Sometimes it is the quiet knowing that carries you through one more door A woman flows She bends with the seasons moves with intuition trusts the tides within her soul She knows when to surrender when to listen when to let life unfold But she is also fire A spark of creation of passion of fierce protection She burns for what she loves rises from every ending The beauty is not in choosing one or the other Not water Not flame The beauty is in becoming both In finding the balance between softness and courage, between rest and movement between tenderness and truth It is joy dancing freely through your body It is laughter that spills from your lips It is presence pleasure wonder and gratitude for the miracle of being alive To be woman is to allow yourself to feel deeply love boldly dream wildly and trust the wisdom that lives beneath it all And when you find joy when you become joy you discover that your light was never missing It was always there flowing like water glowing like fire waiting for you to embrace the beautiful woman you already are Inherbloom 𖦹 #poetry by @inherblooom
So much movement and change happening in my wee world right now. Big transitions, big life shifts. I haven’t fully had the space to land and settle into it all yet, but I’m excited to. Excited to create and start sharing again 🤍 by @inherblooom
There is something deeply powerful about learning to honour your own pace. The more I slow down and listen to myself, the more my idea of success begins to change. It stops feeling like something I need to constantly chase or prove through productivity, achievements, or external validation. Instead success begins to feel like alignment. Like waking up feeling connected to how I’m feeling. Like having the freedom to move with my energy rather than against it. Learning to live cyclically has taught me that I am not meant to feel the same every single day. My body shifts, my emotions shift, my needs shift and there is wisdom in that. When you begin to trust your natural rhythm life softens You stop forcing You stop comparing You stop abandoning yourself just to keep up And from that place things begin to bloom naturally Not perfectly Not all at once But in a way that feels true by @inherblooom
