@meta you can go fuck yourself!!
For those who don’t know, Meta was trying to push a new policy on Instagram and this policy would’ve scraped captions, images, conversations and linked websites in order to train this AI to improve. Artists on this platform made a lot of noise that pushed the decision into a “indefinite” pause of this policy. That does not mean it was shut down and at any time Meta could attempt to launch this policy.

It was especially egregious when user in the USA didn’t even have the option to opt out. This is corporate greed attempting to legally steal from artists and other businesses to fund for this shitty AI. And it’s not just an artist issue either.

You like to play video games? This affects you
You like nature? This affects you
You want to be able to learn and develop critical thinking? This affects you!
If you need water to survive, guess what? THIS AFFECTS YOU

We MUST continue to be loud, not just on @instagram either! Sign petitions, tag these companies, have these discussions because AI has only been around for a few years and has done so much damage.

My commissions are officially reopened! If you want to give your special someone a unique gift then you should consider a portrait! All orders will be drawn through procreate then printed and shipped to the address which is why I am cutting off orders Nov 15th! Orders are only available in the U.S and full payments must be made upfront.

My first Follow-Along video!!!
When I TELL YOU the audio recording was soooooo hard to do!! If you have 3mins to spare, you can hear me babble about the painting as well as the entire process of recording and making this video 😭😂

Is it a mess? Yes.
Will I probably have to do another layer of painting? Yeahhhhh
Am I happy with the result?? Also yes 😁
The person I was three months ago been would have never posted a video and just the finished product.

My new persona!!! Inklight has been going through a lot of positive changes this month and I’m proud to announce that starting in Nov, I will be posting small comics on my insta! I want to become more open. The arts org I work with has really helped me to come out of my shell and because of this confidence I have done three art fours and will have four different vending opportunities under my belt! I couldn’t be more happy with my progress this year as an artist 😁😁

If you didn’t know already, What is Your “Real” Name is just one part of what’s going down at D.O.S.E. this Saturday!

Inner Reflections was made by three D.O.S.E. collective artists who each made 2d art inspired by the combination of drag performers and tarot cards ✨

All together this is a night where you can see 2d, 3d, and 4d(performance) art all celebrating what it means to exist in queer identities and stating the obvious truth that DRAG IS ART!!!

I hope to see you all at 7pm for the art exhibition opening and then stick around until 8pm to see some wonderful drag by the performers that inspired our art ❤️
