IMA Season ✌️ SENIORS Having 6 graduating seniors is so bittersweet! This group is a force, and we hate to imagine the studio without their energy next year. They are fierce and bold. They know who they are, and show everyone looking up to them what it looks like to lean into your strengths while building others up. They all have such bright futures ahead, no matter what they choose to do! We look forward to celebrating their last year of high school all season! This year you will see them in a variety of groupings such as our big production, 3 jazz small groups, 3 contemporary small groups, a musical theatre large group, and a hip hop large group. Each of them has a special senior solo crafted just for them! Ambrea and Audrey have taken on the challenge of a secondary solo in a new style, and multiple of the seniors also have duets they’re working on. Shayla and Lucy have stepped up to understudy a piece as well! Let’s hear it for our SIX graduating seniors! 💃🪩✌️🌈🦄🤩♥️✨🥰 Ambrea Anika Audrey C. Bailey Lucy Shayla by @inspiredmovementacademy
Help us support young creatives on 12/6 at our 2nd annual student choreography showcase: Free to Move! This year we have over 10 student choreographed pieces! We are so proud of these brave dancers stepping into their own artistic voices! The performance will also include mini/junior solos and duets to give them a chance to practice their performance skills, as well as a handful of guest performances! Help us spread the word and pack the gym for these amazing dancers! ♥️✨ Free to Move: Student Choreography Showcase 12/6 1pm HHS Gym Admission by cash or Venmo donation by @inspiredmovementacademy

IMA Season ✌️ TEENS/SENIORS We are so blessed with a large group of teenagers! They are discovering their own unique voices as artists and movers which makes all of their dances this season so exciting! What makes them the most special is their HEART for the team. They truly see each other and make the littles feel like lil celebrities. A big part of being a teen dancer at IMA is stepping up as a positive role model which isn’t always easy. They handle it all with grace and are setting the standard for all the kids in the future. This year you will see them in a variety of different groupings such as our big production, 3 jazz small groups, 3 contemporary small groups, a musical theatre large group, and a hip hop large group. Most of them will be performing solos and duets this year! Aubrey, Claire, Hazel, and Julia deserve a special shout out for taking on the extra responsibility of understudying an additional group piece! 🪩✌️🌈🦄🤩♥️✨🥰 Ainsley Amelia O. Aubrey Audrey B. We asked our dancers ages 9-12 to tell us what their favorite dance is so far, and show us their favorite part of it! We’re loving seeing them grow into their personalities and technique. ♥️✨ • • • #dancetrends #partnertricks #leapsandturns #dancestudiolife #competitivedance by @inspiredmovementacademy
Our girl Audrey has had this solo finished since May, but has been recovering from a major surgery the last 4 months. For her senior year, she wanted to try a completely different style! We are inspired by her ambition and confidence stepping into a very abstract piece. 🌳🍎🐍 new solo for Audrey ~ Into the Rose Garden ~ by Alyssa Audrey’s flexibility, acro, and of course acting are on full display in this piece where she plays Eve after biting the apple in the Garden of Eden. Throughout the dance, she contemplates the gravity of her choice: what might’ve been if she hadn’t eaten it, what has been since she did, and everything in between! We can’t wait to watch her grow and captivate audiences in a new way with it this year 🤩♥️✨ • • • #gardenofeden #burntnorton #poetryinmotion #moderndance #contemporarydance by @inspiredmovementacademy
IMA Season ✌️ JUNIORS This tight-knit group of junior dancers (ages 9-12) is becoming an impactful layer of our team dynamic! They are no longer the cute little ones, but rising leaders and coming into their own performance style. They are so entertaining and committed to every style! We can’t wait to show off all their growth this season. This year you will see them in a variety of different groupings such as our big production, 2 jazz small groups, a musical theatre large group, a tap small group, as well as TWO NEW STYLES: contemporary and hip hop. Some of them also have solos and duets! Andi and Ema are also working double duty and understudying a teen jazz piece. Let’s hear it for our sweet junior dancers! 💃🪩✌️🌈🦄🤩♥️✨🥰 Andi Aria Caroline Edee Ema Iris Mila Mya Thea Zoey by @inspiredmovementacademy
