We end 2025 launching our book! 📔 Published by @fundacion.arquia , this catalogue documents the Spanish Pavilion in Venice through critical essays, photographs, plans, drawings, and research. Featuring international voices and both emerging and established Spanish architects, the book explores a radical new approach to architecture rooted in local ecologies of wood, stone, earth, and residues, that support the landscapes from which they are sourced. Now available for orders online in paper (€20) or PDF (€7), with a public presentation coming soon. Internalities has arrived in Madrid! Last week, we officially opened the fifth and final stop of the exhibition at @casadelaarquitectura, following an international tour that presented the pavilion in Venice, Santiago de Compostela, Barcelona, and Oslo. Beneath the iconic concrete vault, the exhibition unfolds along the underground gallery. Large-format photographs and graphics documenting the selected projects frame a sequence of installations and architectural models on sixteen wooden scales. On view until January 10, 2027. — Curators: #Roi Salgueiro @manuelbouzas_ Organizers: @viviendagob @casadelaarquitectura @acecultura Sponsor: @grupo_finsa Collaborators: @aecid_es @fundacion.arquia Design Team: @_varungandhi_ @r__wines @brian.cocero @cornellaap Visual Identity: @miguelquiroga.work 📸 @luisdiazdiaz 📸 @casadelaarquitectura (3) by @internalities.eu

Last days to visit Internalities at MUHBA Oliva Artés (@museuhistoriabarcelona). On Sunday, September 13, the exhibition will close its doors before moving to the third and final stop of its itinerancy program. Curators #RoiSalgueiro and @manuelbouzas_ reflect on the exhibition’s main takeaways, legacy, and impact, looking back on a journey that began in fall 2024, when their proposal was selected to represent Spain at the 19th Venice Architecture Biennale (@labiennale) in 2025. —

Last week to visit Internalities at MUHBA Oliva Artés (@museuhistoriabarcelona). On Sunday, September 13, the exhibition will officially close its doors before moving to the third and final stop of its itinerancy program. Here are a few images of the elements introduced to adapt the exhibition to the industrial space of Oliva Artés. MDF panels and timber framing wrap the brick columns and reconstruct the boundaries of the main central hall, creating continuous surfaces for displaying the exhibition’s extensive graphic material. —

The curators of the Spanish Pavilion at the 19th Venice Architecture Biennale, Manuel Bouzas and Roi Salgueiro introduces a world that does not exist: Internalities. Through this concept, the exhibition explores how architects can – and must – minimise the environmental externalities associated with production processes. #OAT2026 #naturecomesfirst #oslotriennale #rurallandscape by @internalities.eu
Curators #RoiSalgueiro and @manuelbouzas_ reflect on Internalities’ stop in Barcelona and on the strong Catalan presence that runs throughout the exhibition. From the practices represented in the scales—@bosch.capdeferro.arquitectura, @arquitecturia_, @lopezriveraarquitectes, @harquitectes, @josepferrando_architecture, @pedrogarciahernandez, @marpuig.arquitectura, @manel_casellas_arquitecte, #PerisToralArquitectes and @we_are_takk—to the research section exploring Catalan earth-based construction led by @anna_k_bach, @eugenibach and @caterinabarjau, and Scientific Committee members including #AlbertCuchi and @osubirosresearch. If you haven’t visited yet, Internalities is on view at MUHBA Oliva Artés (@museuhistoriabarcelona) through September 13. — Curators: #Roi Salgueiro @manuelbouzas_ Organizers: @viviendagob @acecultura @bcn_arquitectura Sponsor: @grupo_finsa Collaborators: @gencat @barcelona_cat @aecid_es @fundacion.arquia @iaacbcn Design Team: @varungandhi @r__wines @cornellaap Visual Identity: @miguelquiroga.work 📸 @acercacomunicacion by @internalities.eu
For the first time, the entire exhibition can be experienced at a glance. Without partitions or visual barriers, photographs, installations, models, and drawings share a single open space. These images feature the five research projects presented at MUHBA Oliva Artés (@museuhistoriabarcelona), each exploring one of the five dimensions of Internalities—Materials, Energy, Labor, Residues, and Emissions—through large-format visual essays, installations, and research materials. The exhibition is open free of charge through September 13.
