Life is so wild. I learned how to mix on vinyl over 20+ years ago. At the time, I had to choose between the life I was building or a hobby. I spent all of those years happy as a dancer and appreciating all of the different experiences that music, DJ’s, live musicians, and producers provided to me. Flash forward and I don’t have to choose. I get to try everything that feels right, have the tools to succeed, and with the love and support to grow while doing it. Not that I didn’t have all of that before but my corporate and personal life didn’t have the room. One of my dear friends started a record label a few years ago and it’s been such a great experience to make music and learn so much from him. We just finished my first track, Eepy Deepy, which is available to buy. That feels so weird to write yet so liberating to check that off the list! @bigtechrecords has been focused on supporting the artist and providing the tools needed for everyone to achieve their goals. It’s safe to say he is doing just that. I love watching my friends grow and succeed! Tonight, I get to see that for a few people in a multitude of ways. Come hear me play alongside a wildly talented human with some of our own music and represent this group of amazing artists at Tabor Dance. @jeffers_music and I are on from 8:30-10. 💜 by @intoitmusic
