Would you like to hike the TMB in 2026?

2024 had some great adventures with friends but hiking the TMB which was on my bucket list "things to do" for so long tops the lot. We booked flights for the first week in August. We packed a tent & all our gear & totally winged our accommodation for the 10 or so days & it was absolutely epic! Best trip of my life. Everyday was an adventure. We even got to stay in one of the best Refugio's along the way "Walter Bonatti".
Side note : Book the fucking trip 😃

Wishing everyone in 2025 health & happiness! Happy new year! Let's go 🌍🥾⛰️🧗‍♀️🏔🙌🏼 by @irish.hikes

Halloween , solo sunset camp in the Vern 1.

Would you spend this night alone on a mountain?

Samhain. In ancient Celtic culture, a time of seasonal change marking the beginning of winter, and a time to honour our ancestors. The night when the veil is thinnest between life and death, the physical and the supernatural.
In Irish folklore, on this night the darkness outside belonged entirely to spirits, the dead, and the fairies.

It began as a calm, stunning evening. Just after midnight the wind picked up, waking me, and the gusts continued until morning.

I was glad to be sheltered in the trusted @nortent_of_norway Vern 1 4 season, solid as ever with 10 guy lines secured.

Chamonix is real gem!

The historic mountain capital of the world. Birthplace of alpinism. Nestled at the foot of Mont-Blanc. It feels surreal to walk around. Its the perfect little getaway even if you are not climbing. There is so much to keep you busy.

Add it to the TOP of your list!

Its cold & the days are long and dark but two great things about winter are....

• Less people
• No midges

It's the little things. What's your preference?
