My 2 Years Transformation. 💪

Remember, day by day. What you think and what you do, is who you become.

My healthier lifestyle and training journey restarted exactly 2 years ago.
For 7 straight years I was ordering never ending fast foods. Consuming nothing but junk foods and sugary drinks. I ate barely no vegetables and had zero fruits for years. The result of it all was being very overweight, very heavy breathing after just a short walk, horrible skin, and extremely low confidence levels. I was looking and feeling horrendous 🤦‍♂️. I was in poor health and I’d lost all respect for myself.
Until one day I took a hard and long look at myself in the mirror. I couldn’t even recognise myself anymore. I was feeling, ashamed and absolutely disgusted with myself.
I said f…k this shit and took my lazy ass straight down to the gym to smash some weights.
Ever since that day, I haven’t looked back, or stopped training and have adopted a healthier lifestyle.
I have been consistent for 2 straight years now. I weight lift around 5 days a week, with some cardio, and I eat a pretty clean and well balanced diet.
It was a grind with lots of aches and pains in the beginning. But now I love it.
I have lost 20kg in the last 2 years and I have restored a lot of youth back to me. I feel confident and young again in many ways.
Consistency has certainly paid off.
I hope you’ve been enjoying my fitness tips, motivation and workouts. I will continue to try to help, motivate and inspire.
I am here to help and to build a friendly fitness community.
If you’re reading this feeling body conscious like I was, I promise you that once you have started your own journey, with every workout you’ll be working towards a more confident you. 🫶
As for now, let’s go smash some weights. 💪

45, but feeling 25. 💪🔥 Fitness, self-care and consistency have kept me looking young, feeling strong, and moving better with age. Ageing is inevitable, but how you age is influenced by how you treat yourself. Invest in yourself — your future self will thank you. 🖤 by @ironmanhpt

What it trains:
Hip/ankle mobility — maintaining a deep squat position while moving.
Core stability and rotational control — resisting unwanted movement while controlling the plate.
Obliques and trunk strength — controlling rotation through your torso.
Leg strength and endurance — quads, glutes and adductors working under tension.
Balance and coordination — staying controlled while moving in a low position.
Functional athleticism — combining mobility, strength and movement control.
