I'm sad another school year is here-
I love hanging out with my kids especially in the Summertime! ❤️

Here's a throwback of my handsome boys.

10 months ago I lost my dad.❤️ I have thought today of all the many beautiful and important things I learned from him:

1️⃣Give back to our people💯, my father was a Samoan language advocate.

2️⃣Verbally express your love for others. Video 1 is my dad telling my mom “Oute alofa ia te oe!”😂 He was always telling me I was his fave 🙋🏽‍♀️ weh lol .
.
.

3️⃣Take care of your health. My dad was a mountain of a man. ⭐️He always wore his Rugby Socks high and his rugby shorts higher!😂 I remember him waking me several mornings to walk up Mount Wellington and then doing jumping jacks and push ups and sit ups. 🏃🏾This year is our year to get back in shape daddy! Long Term👊🏽 .
.
.
4️⃣Serve faithfully in callings. I can remember my dad and mom going to Saturday morning temple sessions and my dad preparing lessons throughout the week even after working two jobs. ❤️ .
.
.
5️⃣Get Educated! My dad was a lifelong teacher and student. He was always learning, reading and studying. .
.
.
6️⃣Follow your passions. My dads passions included Rugby and Samoan Language-it’s safe to say most people knew this. ❤️ He was always sharing, teaching and advocating for Samoan language and the importance of rugby 😂👍 . by @isa.auvaa

15 years ago today -I returned from service an LDS mission. #LDSMissionary 🥹😭 And I have wept today when I think about this time period in my life.

Auckland, New Zealand-Samoan Speaking. The best mission for me. I loved my experience of service-I miss the people, the places and the time my life was consecrated to serve the Lord. ❤️🥹

I will never forget my mission-it was for me. I knew I was supposed to be there-and I never regretted going! 😭❤️ I could never summarize what my mission meant for me. But I am grateful that in that time period I came to an understanding of who the Lord was more fully. He loves us more than anything we could imagine! #Missionary #Samoan #LDS #calledtoserve by @isa.auvaa
