When the King and Queen meet @2boost_performance 🤝🏻 👑

@isaackimeli and coach @ivoroelandt were invited to the royal palace to meet our King and Queen together with many other great Belgian athletes.

This invitation was given to celebrate and honour their silver medal in Tokyo last year.

Thank you to @belgianroyalpalace for this invitation 👑

September 21, 2025 a date I will never forget. 🇯🇵🥈

Today marks exactly one year since I won my World Championship silver medal in Tokyo. A moment that will stay with me forever. ❤️

One year later, the emotions are still so strong when I look back at these pictures. All the hard work, sacrifices, challenges and the people who supported me along the way made this moment possible.

This medal is more than just a medal. It represents a dream that became reality and a moment that will always have a special place in my heart.

Tokyo 2025 a memory I will carry with me forever. 🇯🇵🥈❤️

European Championships Birmingham 2026 🇬🇧🇪🇺

The 10,000m wasn’t the race I was hoping for. After the 5000m, I probably didn’t have enough time to fully recover and be at my best for the 10,000m.

Still, I’m proud of this championship and everything I gave. 💪🏾

A big thank you to everyone who supported me in Birmingham my family, friends, team, coaches, supporters and everyone who sent me messages. ❤️🙏🏾

Now it’s time to take some rest, recover and start preparing for the winter season

We keep moving forward and come back stronger! 💪🏾

🇪🇺 RACE DAY! 🇧🇪

Tonight I’m racing the 10,000m at the European Championships. 🇪🇺🔥

🕗 20:25 London time
🕘 21:25 Belgian time

Ready to give everything out there and fight until the very last metre. 💪🏾❤️

Thank you all for the support! 🙏🏾

9th place at the European Championships. 🇪🇺 I gave everything until the very last metre. The race was going well, but unfortunately I couldn’t respond to the final move in the last 250m.

Of course, I wanted more. But that’s sport. Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn.

I’m proud to have represented Team Belgium on this big stage and to wear the Belgian colours. 🇧🇪❤️

This is not the end. It’s another step in the journey.

Now it’s time to recover and focus on the next challenge: 10km on Saturday 💪
