“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;”
‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭22‬ ‭

This recap is just a small reflection of how the Lord has moved these past 9 months in the Dominican Republic. I’ll always be thankful for this community here. I’ve seen God’s heart through the hospitality of people who have become family, and I’m grateful for the ways He’s met me again and again. Thank you to everyone who prayed for me, and supported me financially, your encouragement meant more than you know. This school year will always hold a special place in my heart 🌴🐓🌺💛 by @isabelladavila21

What a joy it was to be back in this country and witness how the Lord is working through the community here. It was such an encouragement deepening relationships with our team, meeting new people, and reconnecting with friends I love so dearly.

Life lately 🌺

~ This past semester has been full but in the best way. We had several short term teams visit in March and they were such a blessing. It was so special to meet new people, and create new friendships. The preschool site has also been so fulfilling. I’ve loved watching the kids grow and spend time with my site leaders each day. I’ve loved seeing new places here and I’m constantly reminded of the Lord’s kindness in everything 🧡 by @isabelladavila21

☀️🐓🌴🌊🍍Recap of this past month: the start of second semester here has been so much fun. It was so special getting to see everyone again after being away. These past 4 weeks consisted of serving at the preschool site, going to a new home stay, Spanish language school, and spending a week in Jarabacoa. It has been a joy getting to build and deepen more relationships. I love learning more everyday, and have experienced so much hospitality. The Lord has been so present through all of it, and I’ve seen His love all around by @isabelladavila21

Rejoicing over all these sweet moments 🤍

These past few weeks have included us getting back into ministry sites, visiting the botanical gardens, snorkeling at paradise island, and going through 2 more weeks of home stays and Spanish language school. I’m so grateful for it all 🤍 by @isabelladavila21

These past 2 weeks of home stays and Spanish language school have flown by!

~Living with my wonderful host family, I’ve encountered so much generosity, and gained a deeper understanding of the culture here. I’ve made so many fun memories, exploring the city with them, trying new foods, and playing lots of volleyball and card games. I’ve loved learning more Spanish each day during language school and I can’t wait to continue learning the rest of the year. by @isabelladavila21
