The Qur’an was never meant for a select few. It was revealed as guidance for all of humanity.

When we neglect building a relationship with the Qur’an, we deprive no one but ourselves of its guidance.

As Muslims, we live in this world by rules that can feel difficult to follow. Yet those same rules are what bring us the success we seek in this world and the next.

Allah says:
“Whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer, We will surely grant them a good life, and We will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do.” (an-Naḥl 16:97)

Redirect your pain into prostration.

One of the reasons that Allah places adversity in our lives is to remind us to turn to Him and Him alone.

Perhaps your degree and professional connections have not helped you land a job. Perhaps multiple visits to the doctor have not provided you lasting healing or recovery.

Every time your material efforts seem to be in vain, it’s a gentle reminder from Allah to turn to Him and beg from Him.
