The world’s worst kept secret
On July 20, after weeks of conversations about our future together and wanting to help each other grow and build a life with each other, we got engaged to be married!! 💍💍

From strangers to friends to lovers and emergency contacts. We met exactly one year ago when we went out to celebrate our friend’s birthday. Neither of us could have imagined this would be our lives and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Miqui’s first camping trip was a success! Well mostly…
He did so good around the campsite and on our walks and drives. He still needs to work on his people skills and a few fire ants attacked his lil paws. He was a trooper tho by @issisannette

It was a good weekend to get lost in the Sierra Nevada mountains 🤭 by @issisannette

Chapter 35 was a wild one.
Full of the highest highs and the lowest lows. I got to discover new places, plan a wedding, celebrate milestones, and grieve the loss of a close family member all while trying to find full-time employment😮‍💨

I don’t know what chapter 36 will bring but I’m forever grateful for my village. My life partner, family, chosen family, and friends. You all help me to stay positive, find joy, and keep my head up no matter what. 💛 by @issisannette

It’s been one year since we got engaged. After multiple conversations about spending our lives together, I finally popped the question and he said yes…and then he asked me and I said yes🤭
That morning after our run, we explored thrift stores and antique shops where we found our engagement rings.
I still think it was a perfect day
