POSTS STORIES REELS

⚠️ Personal post ahead!

Who I am hates who I’ve been.
This reel is a reflection of my journey in learning to accept all the pieces of who I am and always have been and that I don’t owe anybody any explanation or apology for that.

I’ve been many people: the golfer searching for peace, the human longing to be seen as something more than just the sex I was born in, the loving parent trying to do right, the quiet partner struggling with connection.

I’ve also been a liar. A disappointment. A ghost in my own life at times. I’ve hurt people I care about. And I carry that with me.

This isn’t a plea for attention or pity. It’s a vulnerable moment- one I chose to share, not because I have all the answers, but because hiding was never the answer.

Authenticity matters. And I made this reel because I needed to. Maybe it’ll help me. Maybe it’ll reach someone else who needs it too. by @isthatlenise

Life looks a lot different than I thought it would at this point, and I’m still trying to make sense of a lot of it. Some days are easier than others, but I’m learning that I can miss what was and still appreciate what’s right in front of me.

A beautiful fall day in Vail, a good friend, and a little reminder that there’s still plenty of life left to live. 🍂 by @isthatlenise
