Sans titre is proud to announce the representation of Liselor Perez. We look forward to continuing our collaboration, following her first solo exhibition at the gallery earlier this year and the presentation of her work at Art Basel in June. Perez’s work will also be featured on the gallery’s booth at Art Basel Paris in October 2026, and at Art Collaboration Kyoto (ACK) in November 2026, in collaboration with PARCEL, Tokyo.

Liselor Perez (b. 1999, Montélimar, France) lives and works in Paris. She graduated from the École nationale supérieure des Beaux Arts de Paris in 2025, where she studied in the studio of Dominique Figarella, after receiving her BFA from Villa Arson in Nice in 2022. In 2023 and 2024, she also took part in a ceramics exchange program at Tokyo University of the Arts (Geidai).

This year, the artist has been selected to participate in the residency program at Villa Dufraine and had her first solo exhibition at Sans titre, Paris. In 2025, she received the 5th Rubis Mécénat Prize, through which she benefited from the critical support of guest curator Julia Marchand and a production grant for an installation presented at Saint Eustache Church in October 2025.

Perez has notably participated in group exhibitions at Zacheta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw (2026); Festival Gestes Collectifs, Paris (2026); Palais des Beaux-Arts de Paris (2025); Frac Île-de-France, Romainville (2024); La Supérette, Centre d’art contemporain de Malakoff (2025), and Sans titre, Paris (2025 and 2023).
Upcoming group exhibitions include: ArtNoble Gallery, Milan and La Galerie de l’Académie des beaux-arts - Galerie Vivienne.

Twórczość artystki nawiązuje do szerszych badań współkuratorki wystawy Julii Marchand @marchand.julia, poświęconych doświadczeniu dorastania, sztuce i poczuciu wyobcowania. Zagadnienia te Marchand rozwija w książce „I Am the F****** Subject: Art & Adolescence” @lenz.press.

🗓️ W najbliższy piątek (18.09) o godz. 18:00 zapraszamy na spotkanie wokół książki „I Am The F***** Subject, Art & Adolescence” z Julią Marchand i Michalem Novotným @michail_novotny.

✨ Liselor Perez, using puppets and doll-like forms, presents bodies that are simultaneously present and withdrawn, animated yet muted – as if referring to something unresolved beneath the surface.

Her work explores coming of age, silence and self-censorship, as well as the way we gradually learn to suppress our own voice and the intensity with which we perceive the world.

“I think that existential questions and youthful insight are something we gradually forbid ourselves from engaging with, simply because it is easier to live without asking too many questions. In my dolls, this fragility of existence is extremely present. But for me, this quality is not connected to age. Zoom sur les artistes en résidence🎀

LISELOR PEREZ @iszor

For Art Basel Statements, Sans titre presents an installation composed of a monumental five meter doll with a ghostly silicone face, a smaller figure with adult features, and a life size window framed with patterned textiles. Together, these elements stage a disquieting play of scales and proximities, where the child becomes architectural, the adult is miniaturized, and the viewer is drawn into a domestic theater with no clear exit.

Through this installation, Liselor Perez continues her exploration of the ties between intimacy, memory and identity. Her figures, fashioned from fabrics bearing bodily and domestic traces, oscillate between dolls, puppets and replica. They conjure a haunted world in which childhood, home and vulnerability become vehicles for a feminist and queer critique of the norms imposed on bodies, roles and genders. Blending softness with unease, attraction with repulsion, she transforms the booth into a theater of contradictions where viewers, caught in a web of scales and mirrors, find themselves dispossessed of their own place.

On the occasion of the release of I Am The F****** Subject: Art & Adolescence (Lenz), edited by Julia Marchand, and the final day of Liselor Perez’s exhibition, whose work is featured in the publication, Sans titre is pleased to invite you to a casual cake afternoon gathering on Saturday, April 25 at 4pm.

Contemporary art approaches adolescence as a state of mind, a condition that has eroded the traditional markers of the transition into adulthood, not as a transitory phase, but as an extended mode of existence, even as a critique of a world that itself resists stabilization. Adolescence is also a form of fragility, one that inhabits the dolls of Liselor Perez.

Building on this observation, the artist and the editor will create a cake embodying this awkward and tender age.

« garde-robe »
A solo exhibition by Liselor Perez (@iszor ) is on view at Sans titre (@sanstitre.gallery ), Paris — until 25 April 2026.

Perez constructs the exhibition as a succession of enclosures — miniature cabinets, deep frames, closed devices, each one a sealed interior that does not speak to the others. Drawing on the eighteenth-century tradition of domestic display cabinets, she inherits both the gesture and its tension: to miniaturise a home is to become its sovereign observer, but also to keep intimacy within a controllable perimeter.

What unsettles the work is what escapes it. Hands emerge at life size inside rooms that should not contain them. The miniature is no longer a closed world. Something bodily, something mnemonic, passes through.
