A little look back at our home journey. 🏠🔨🥰I only started this account to share with my close family and friends, our self build journey during the pandemic. When no one could visit and i felt so isolated, worried and questioned, what on earth had we done! Have you ever had this happen?I hear a loud bang and found this! The shower screen glass had spontaneously exploded all over the bathroom into the tiniest pieces. I wish I had a camera to see what actually happened. When I started my Instagram account at the very beginning of our self build journey, never did I ever expect it to leads to moments like this!Spending time with these incredible girls, learning so much, whilst having the best time. Planting by numbers makes gardening so much easier! When I comes to buying plants for the garden, I am pretty clueless. @dig_club provide you with a planting guide and have several themes to choose from. You simply add the measurements of your area and they do the rest. Everything is numbered and colour coded making gardening easy. Listened to the hype and it was spot on.The power in this machine is incredible! I love the foam spay gun plus for tall people, it has a zoom lance, so no sore backs after a day attacking everything you can get your hands on! DIY pin board perfect for your little ones art. Because let’s, be honest we get over 30 pieces of ‘art’ sent home every week from school 🤭 and our fridge just isn’t the place!Pinboard FLÖNSA @ikeauk Material £4 from @dunelmuk Get any sized picture frame and cut the pin board to size. Cover in fabric and used spray adhesive to mount to the pin board. Then put your frame over the top and hang. True story and guess what!Don’t listen because one day you might find that you have been shortlisted for the @ufurnishcom awards for ‘best home’ which is worth 5 years of renovating and all the highs and lows that go with it! Also, my garden has been nominated for the ‘best garden’ turning it from a building site (literally) to where we are today and remember the day I installed new tiles into my nearly finished bathroom, only to hate them and have to re tile the whole bathroom again? That’s also shortlisted for ‘best bathroom’ As you’ll know, I started my insta journey when we bought the bungalow, just before the pandemic hit! It’s been quite the journey from a girl who had never picked up a power tool to now.
