Chosen Family is the corner stone of my Life! And I had the most special weekend having my Rainbow Daughter, NV, @nv.gay and her incredible wife, Katie visit for Passover! This was made EXTRA special because they were able to meet Rainbow Son, Jae @not_your_daddi_ for the first time!!!! 💗After a beautiful Passover Seder, Friday night, we embarked on an adventure Saturday! NV is a brilliant photographer and had arranged a photo shoot with gorgeous and talented Abigail Beverly Hills, @abigailbhillz at The Chicago Cultural Center! Everybody should follow @mx.gay_photography immediately and I can’t wait to see how these shots turn out! From there, we headed to Hyde Park to visit The DuSable Museum @dusablemuseum Black American History Museum for their newest exhibition, Paris in Black: Internationalism & The Black Renaissance! I’m a huge Josephine Baker fan and the exhibit was phenomenal! Plus, I got to pose with a hologram of Chicago’s 1st Black Mayor, Harold Washington!! Special thanks to Ms. DeeDee for the pic! 🥰While busy with the museum, Jae, was leading the Chicago Trans Visibility Rally!! Jae, who is the Director of Communications for @life.iswork (also follow immediately!) passionately urged the crowd to support the Trans Community by mitigating the harm being done by this Administration! Always inspiring to hear Jae speak!! 💗Us back in Hyde Park, then decided to visit Out of the Closet Thrift Store @otc_chicago @outofthecloset, where I found the Cuntyness of all orange leather coats for a STEAL!! 🤩From there, we headed to The Kit Kat Club for dinner and Drag Show, and met up with Jae and his beautiful partner, Ebonii to enjoy our beautiful Abigail hosting and performing! 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻Everyday I’m so blessed to such AMAZING family!
