Ingredient spotlight 🗣️:

We will be featuring one of our favorite natural ingredients every week.

This week we will be featuring one of our favorites..... HONEY 🍯

Swipe to learn the healing power of honey.🧡 by @its.mykairos

Did you hydrate today? 💦

Hydration is the key to healthy skin,
It helps your complexion truly begin.

For healthy skin that's soft and smooth,
Hydration is the ultimate tool 🤍 by @its.mykairos

Let’s talk about this texture! Our Honey Body Scrub leaves your skin feeling sooo silky and smooth you won’t be able to resist. To keep your skin refreshed and hydrated, use our Honey Body Scrub 2-3 times/week & then rinse off with lukewarm water 💦 (hot water evaporates off your skin quickly & leaves it to dry more easily!)

For that icing on your self-care cake, add on our Goddess Glow Body Balm to really moisturize your skin 🥰

HOW HONEY MAKES YOUR SKINCARE SWEETER 🍯✨❤️

Yes, that Golden Bear is good for more than just making oatmeal or your tea taste better! 🙌🏾 Honey is a celebrated skincare ingredient that’s amazing for:

🌱 Exfoliating (it naturally contains trace amounts of AHAs)
🌱 Fighting against acne & healing your skin (naturally anti-bacterial & anti-septic)
🌱 Moisturizing (it draws moisture from the air to the skin)

It’s little wonder that we incorporated honey into our Exfoliating Body Polish! Gently remove layers of dead cells to reveal your #goddessglow underneath 🤩 Click the link in our bio to get your glow on!

The mainstream Beauty Industry is good at making those with melanated bodies feel ashamed of their skin or feel like normal things about their skin needs to be "fixed;" i.e. corporations are good at making up problems & selling solutions 😣
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But as we'll drive home: you are divinely created, & your skin deserves to be taken care of without being shamed ✨ Have you crafted a ritual to nourish your skin?

💦 Hydration vs Moisturization: What’s The Difference? 💦

Even though Winter days are largely behind us (thank goodness), our skin still needs moisture, especially for those who naturally have dry skin 😭

But if you’re one of those people who think that hydration or moisturization are the same thing (like we used to be), keep reading 👀

In a nutshell, hydrating products bring water to your skin while moisturizing products create a barrier on your skin to keep that water in 👏🏾

You may need more hydrating skin products (& more water) if your skin:
-Tends to look dull
-Wrinkles + sagging are noticeable

You may need more moisturizing skin products if your skin
-Feels rough + flaky

And you may need both if you're experiencing all the symptoms above!

Our Goddess Hydrating Body Balm is so good at moisturizing that your skin will definitely feel like it’s hydrated 🥰 Discover the amazing sensation of our effective, yet lightweight butter through the link in our bio!
