Medal Monday 🎖️ Yesterday was amazing!! 🤩 My first big race truly beautiful. From the walk to to start through Baltimore early in the morning to the energy at the start line. To having my friends alongside me the whole step of the way. Cheering on my friends at their finish. From even seeing the LAST person of the marathon along their last stretch as I was walking back to our starting place. Baltimore is amazing. As much fun as I had this race was hard! The weeks leading up to it felt almost impossible. There was so much going on and everything was going against my plans. I prayed and fasted and Jeremiah 29:11 is all I could hear. I went into Saturday blazing with my fastest times. Who would’ve thought that I’d be here after a year that I thought I had lost everything. A year where I felt like I had nothing left to offer this earth. I love this life 🩷 by @its.syddd

16.2 ✨ If only you knew the year I had. This race terrified me and pushed me beyond my limits. After a year of battling life, sickness, missed workouts; I leaned on prayer, trusted God, and kept pushing. “ For I know the plans I have for you…”— Jeremiah 29:11 These medals are so much more than a finish line. It’s proof that even through pain, I can still do these hard things. To everyone who tracked me down, ran beside me, spoke life into me I love yall down. To Afia, Benzi, Simone, & Kennedy. 4Lifers 💕 I couldn’t have crossed either of those lines without you. BaltiMORON Mamí out ✌🏾 #baltimorerunningfestival by @its.syddd
