The sun out on the ice... had me feeling "reeeeeeeeel" nice ...👀...😂😂😂

If you ain't using Bulla Cakes for bait and smashing beef patties while ice fishing... are you even doing it right though?

Share this with your favourite yardie Jamaican 🇯🇲😏.

THE MOSQUITO 🦟 IS FINALLY OUT OF THE TENT!!!!

YA GIRL IS IN PRINT 📖!
*omg WHAT!?*

When Sebastian rolled into my DM's almost a year ago... he asked me to be a contributor to his book "Tent Life".
I thought it was joke 😬.

I instantly googled him because ya know... Stranger Danger 😂😂😂 (Sorry Sebastian! Haha!)
When we spoke and he explained to me the heart and soul of the book... I couldn't say no.

It was everything I stand for on this little slice of the interwebs and more.

I had been checking daily to see when Tent Life was going to be on the shelves.... and TODAY I found a local Chapters that had 2 copies left...

So needless to say I scooted my butt right on over there!

Looking back at it now... as I write this with every emotion running through me...
I can't believe that this Black Adventurer who was once incredibly scared to walk into an outdoor store... is now in a book inspiring others to get outside.

My mind is still processing it!!! 🤯😳😭

Sebastian, you have no idea what this opportunity has meant to me... I am in a little part of history... and that's pretty incredible.

Also Tent Life feels so damn good in the hands!
*swwwooooooon!!!!*

...and there it is.
A new PB Splake hit the net.

I still can'tget over how beautiful it was!

That little Ewok lookin' fly has done me so well this season. 🤣💁🏾‍♀️✨️

Again, thank you for showing my previous post so much love. 🩷. It has been a fun ride! 🤘🏾

...and this time I actually landed it 😩😭.

A new PB! 🙌🏾

I had a few runs this season, hooking into bigger fish.... but lost them.

I played back footage, spoke with vets in the game and tried to visualize what I could do better.

I know this wasn't prefect, but ain't nobody gonna take away how proud I am over this moment.

I've come so far.

.....also, look at me getting better at holding on to these bigger guys and gals. WHAAATTTT 🤣🥹.

Thanks for riding the emotional highs of the tug with me!

6 DAYS IN A BOAT WITH TROUT SLIME FULL THROTTLE
... just cloggin' up the reels 😮‍💨😏🤣

Boat views from our six day adventure - held nothing back.

The cold, damp and misty mornings consumed us from the minute we woke up ...and the last conscious thoughts before bed.

The fish showed up for their play date. 😌

Woooooooweeeee!

A few stills from our 6 day adventure into the backcountry...
Snaps from our travels and around camp.

This trip was the breath of fresh air we needed to deal with life's wild ride weeks before.

Grief has a way of restoring wholeness in your own life.
The brokenness has a way of healing your own soul - if you let it.

Every rainy day we took as a blessing.
Every hard portage, we sighed and said.... it's not a race...

We spent a ton of time just making sure each other was good. We moved to the rhythm of daylight... and just listened to our bodies.

No script.

Mother nature didn't disappoint with her awe and beauty on this trip.
She wrapped us in her arms and filled our cups... and for that, I am hella thankful.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO!????

The bag was crispy fresh too! 🥲

We heard some boys rolling in the night before... a late entrance.

We actually greeted them on the lake....and I'm pretty sure it belonged to them 🙏🏾.

We propped it up on a rock hoping they come through the same way home.... a little welcome snack waiting for them 🥹.

Godspeed with the snacks my Adventure warriors.
This was a tough loss. by @its_ann_calling

My backcountry bed is officially better than my actual bed

....thought I'd give you guys the update after all of your recommendations. Truly, a world of insight.

I went with the Big Agnes Campmeister Deluxe Insulated.

Thank you internet family... and a huge thank you to @bigagnes_

6 nights in the cold backcountry didn't matter anymore!

I'm going to miss these foggy overcast days of fall...

Last trip, I couldn't get enough of it.
Every sense was ignited.

6 days of vast wilderness among the mist, makes the heart beat a little slower.

The cup slowly overrun of appreciation for being in the moment.

Feeling alive as every bead of rain start to pool on my hat.

The fresh scent of the trees fills my entire being.... knowing that this day can never be replicated.
