Dinner date out the country 🥂! by @itsbigc_

From the classroom to the Capitol today was LIT! 🇺🇸✨
We met with some amazing U.S. Representatives and congressional staff some who already understand and support the work of Head Start, and others who gave us the opportunity to educate, advocate, and share our experiences.
Being at the U.S. Capitol and using my voice to tell the stories of children, families, and early childhood educators meant so much to me. After 20+ years in early childhood education, being able to bring those experiences directly to Capitol Hill was powerful.
The marathon continues… 🏃🏽‍♀️✨🇺🇸 ! Thank you @childrenfirstpa 🫶🏽 by @itsbigc_

Sometimes God has a way of bringing you right back to where you first started and for us, that’s ECE. 🤎✨!
So much has been happening behind the scenes, and so much is coming. From continuing to advocate for quality early childhood education to building something of our own. Thank you @msrae7710 , @molly_mbutter , and @rinareneebloomn my work family for believing in us and showing up today and giving us our actual flowers💐. 🥹🤎 We do this work every day for the providers, children, and families of Philadelphia, and we’re just getting started. Stay tuned for what’s next… we’ve been real quiet on the creek. 😂👀🌳

Again, thank you @inellarakellray for your time, dedication, and commitment to us over these last six months. The fight you continue to fight for children, families, and our communities shows what true passion and advocacy look like. You are amazing, and I’m so grateful our paths crossed. 🫶🏽💐
Parent & Kinship Action Lab Cohort 6! 🎓✨ We did it! by @itsbigc_

I didn’t find my passion here I found more tools to fight for it. 🎓✨
Today I graduated from a 4 month advocacy program with more knowledge, stronger connections, and an even greater commitment to advocate for our youngest learners and their families.
Another seat at the table. Another voice for our children. The work continues. 🤎 by @itsbigc_
