In March 2025, @adesuaetomi said people don’t understand how serious hyperemesis gravidarum is, and that it’s not ordinary morning sickness. I felt that deeply, because I lived it too.

April 2025. One week after I found out I was pregnant, it started. I was vomiting blood, nothing stayed down, I couldn’t take my prenatal for 4 months, and I lost 5kg. The hardest part was not knowing why. Was my body rejecting the pregnancy? Was it something I did wrong?

HG is a real pregnancy complication, and the exact cause isn’t known. It is not your fault.

God carried me, and He sent people: my husband, my family, my friends, my nurse. I held on to the word I heard in my pastor’s teaching: that sickness will not be the end of you.

If you’re going through this right now, I pray the power of God makes you whole. You’re not exaggerating. Please talk to your doctor.

If you’ve not experienced this, I pray you don’t. Be kind to anyone who is, and pray for them.

Send this to a mum who needs to hear it. 🤍

Three Decades of God’s Faithfulness 🎉❤️✨

Today, I am overwhelmed with gratitude as I celebrate thirty beautiful years of God’s mercy, grace, love, and faithfulness.

Looking back, I can boldly say that grace has always been my story.

God has carried me through every season, held my hand through every challenge, and blessed me beyond what I could ever deserve.

I have never had a better yesterday because God keeps making each chapter of my life better than the last. Through the ups and downs, He has remained faithful, loving, and kind.

Today, I celebrate more than just my birthday; I celebrate the faithfulness of God in my life. Every milestone, every lesson, every answered prayer, and every moment that brought me this far is a testament to His unfailing love.

Thank You, Lord, for thirty beautiful years. Thank You for the grace that has brought me this far, and thank You for the greater things that lie ahead.

Here’s to a new decade, greater purpose, and all that God has in store.

Happy birthday to me! ❤️✨

They say it’s never too late, so I’m proving it. 💛

I walked into my first driving lesson expecting theory, and ended up behind the wheel. Scared? Yes. Proud? Even more.

Follow along as I learn, one day at a time. Day 2 coming soon!

Almost 30. Never driven a car. Until now. 🚗

I’ve spent years being the passenger, always saying “one day.” Today, I stopped waiting. I registered, paid, and my first class starts tomorrow.

Am I scared? Yes. Do I know what I’m doing? Not at all. But I’m doing it anyway, and I’m taking you with me.

Day 1 is coming. 🤍

Drop a driving tip in the comments!

Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) is not ordinary morning sickness. 🤍

If someone you love is going through it, here’s how you can really show up:

✨ Take things off her plate: her work, her space, her little ones
✨ Pray for her and with her, and keep praying
✨ Check in without needing a reply
✨ Ask “What can I do today?” instead of guessing
✨ Keep her close to her doctor too

For me, it was supernatural. Doctors do their best, but God is the one who heals, and He sent people to carry me through. 🙏🏾

Save this for the day someone close to you needs it, and send it to a family member or friend who should see it. 🤍

Have you been the one supporting someone, or the one being supported? Tell me in the comments.

October 1st. A new month, a new season, and 21 days to my 30th birthday. 🎉

There’s something powerful about standing at the edge of a new decade and seeing how far God has brought you. I’m walking into this birthday month grateful, intentional, and excited for what’s ahead.

Happy new month, and happy Independence Day, Nigeria 🇳🇬

Shoutout to all October born! 🥳 This is our month, and I pray it’s your best one yet.

Now tell me:

Watch your words. 🤍

My sister and I were driving past a school that usually has heavy traffic during pick-up hours. We weren’t even stuck that day, but I said out loud, “I will never send my child to that school.”

What I didn’t think about was that her children were attending that school at the time.

My concerns were valid, but I should have shared them carefully. Being right doesn’t mean it’s okay to say things carelessly. How you say something matters as much as what you say.

Now I pause before I speak to friends and family, and before I type anything online. Ask yourself: Is this the right way, the right time, and the right person to say this to?

Have you ever said something you wish you had said differently? Tell me below 👇🏾 by @itsdolaaaa

Being a mom is such a privilege I won’t take for granted 🙏🏾

Even on the days I can’t remember the last time I slept through the night 😅😴

I feel blessed and grateful
