Nelson was the best thing that ever happened to me but Beans was the best thing that ever happened to him. lol He tried to show Beans the ropes and Beans said to hell with alll that… 😂 like Pinky and the Brain, Beans was the brawn to his bark. Beans misses you too Nelly. by @itsjaethedon

12 years. Nelson gave us 12 years of love and some of the best memories. I don’t even know where to begin talking about him cause there is so much to say. lol he was the best dog ever and I’m not just saying that cause I’m his human… other ppl thought it too. 😂

He was so sweet, so smart and absolutely hilarious. What I miss most is his bark lol and if you know that bark you’re probably thinking I’m crazy. Lol Nelson had a realllly big bark, and it would hurt my ears but I learned to rely on it cause Nelson didn’t miss. lol he could hear an ant walking on sand. 😂 that was his only job… let me know so I can go get my gat. 😂 and boyyyy was he excellent at it!

Our weekends were for chillin, patio door open, jazz playin, sun rising. Running errands, attending outdoor events and resting. We LOVED to get our nap on. Lol

I would’ve been a different woman without Nelson. lol I know that sounds crazy but it’s true. He is so missed and it’s been the hardest week for me but I’m feeling a lil better everyday. I couldn’t bring myself to talk about him without sobbing so forgive me if I missed you. Thank you all for the calls, texts and thoughts… Baby Face Nelson was my dawg in every way. He loved me at my best and worst, unconditionally, and I’m so glad God let me have him as long as I did.

beach dates were our favs!

😂😂😂 never found out what I did.

He was turning 11, actually lol

We lived In Lynchburg, Va for a year before we moved to Houston.

We loved to be outdoors. Texas heat and mosquitoes made us miss our Va days tho for sure.

I had to flip my rugs upside down so he wouldn’t mess them up. Eventually I just rolled them up. lol

We survived a pandemic together. lol

His Last Christmas. 2025

I used to drop Nelson off to my parents for the summer. lol drop him off in June and pick him up in August 😂

Summer 2026

He loved a car ride.

Our favorite apt…

I started a lil bucket list for Nelson and the beach was the first and last thing he got to do lol I took him last Saturday and the wind was blowing my baby around lol but I think he enjoyed it a lil.

I think he hated his hair cut most times … 😂

I was sitting here sad thinking about Nelson aging and wondering if he’s actually ok… then he gave me a sign that he still had a lot of fight left in him. 🤣🤺🥊 by @itsjaethedon

I woke up last Saturday morning to an email. I skimmed it really quickly. Saw something extremely interesting and then went back to read it in its entirety.

Then I read it at least 10 more times because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I checked the email for fraud then I screen shotted it to make sure it didn’t disappear. lol lastly I sent it to my loved ones so they could provide the last layer of confirmation.

Last night something told me to check the account and when I did it showed a balance of $0. Thank You God.

I don’t have enough time in the day to explain to how it feels. lol I figured I would just have student loan debt until I check out. lol . I’m so glad that’s not the case anymore. I feel so light, I want more. By this time next year I’ll only have my mortgage and daily living expenses to pay. by @itsjaethedon
