I knew this was coming but I was and never will be ready to write this.

On October 2nd, my mom Eastlyn Forbes passed away after a hardfought battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She asked me last month to bring her home and fulfill her wishes and despite the many, many challenges, that's exactly what I did and am doing.

Her funeral will be on October 16th at 2pm, with a viewing happening right before at the same church and for those that would like to watch please use this link:

For those of you who are wondering or want to ask, No I'm not ok, but I'm ok enough and I'm getting what needs to be done handled. If you want to know how to help me, love up on my kids and my family. KJ has never known loss and this is right before his birthday. Jelly is a very emotional kid and it will be hard for her to understand. My wife has already lost a parent due to pancreatic cancer so none of this is easy for her and she's been holding the family down as I flew to Tobago to fulfill mom's wishes (she is truly the real MVP). My Dad is doing the best he can but he will also need support and community.

Love up on your mom's if they're still here folks, I'm so very thankful I got to spend all this extra time with mine. To every single person that's helped, supported, checked in throughout this time, I deeply and thoroughly love and appreciate you as did mom (especially those of you that were in the trenches, shoulder to shoulder with me, YOU KNOW what we went through).

The song here was her favorite and we danced to it at my wedding... She always asked for ahh ahh lol. I'll miss you Mom, my first lady 💜🫂🕊️ by @itsjus_2easy

Made it through you 2022. What a year it was, said surprising goodbyes (R.I.P 😪) but had some amazing experiences. Here are 10 snippets, looking forward to 2023.

1 - Our family on the big day. Purple is the family color and we look damn good in it.
2 - KJ has never played in a league until his soccer house league this summer. He gained some confidence and scored!
3 - Luv to celebrate love especially to our song. (Might have to switch the song though 😬)
4 - My aunt has had a hellacious 2 years but we really wanted to bring in her 70th in a memorable way and a surprise party was the best way.
5 - 🥷🏾 & Wonder Woman on Halloween😍😍😍
6 - I was blessed to be brought to the a Black Panther premiere by my homie and i will love her forever (I was gonna regardless but this solidifies it lol 😘 💜)
7 - The big 3-5 for my Mrs 💜💜💜
8 - That Santa has been in every one of both of their pictures. He's become tradition
9 - The 2022 Philbert Christmas Card (matching pjs is a must)
10 - The Prince and I balling at a birthday party on the last day of the year. He's starting to take an interest 🏀 by @itsjus_2easy

Tremendous 12! This past weekend we celebrated this young now preteen.

It was a great time and he made sure to thank everyone in the last slide. I know I say this every year but I can't believe I have a whole 12 year old! Hoping year 12 is half as great as you are buddy, you are my favorite son and I love you dearly😉🤣

Birthday pose is here strong as ever! Yes I will be doing it forever, yes I will lift him, don't watch how 😉 by @itsjus_2easy

A year has never felt so fast yet so painfully slow at the same time. We all miss you very much Mom, R.I.P by @itsjus_2easy

Birthdays have always been my favorite, it's your own personal holiday and it still is, but this year hits different.

Usually I'd get woken up with singing and the story of my birth. Thankfully I remember them vividly since she isn't here to tell me and sing....

Thank you for all the birthday wishes, I very much appreciate them even though my heart is heavy. I don't laugh the same but at least I still can 😊💕

Thank you Mom 🙏🏿💜 by @itsjus_2easy

Milestones 🥰💕

You lived life and had a great time doing it. You worked hard and reaped the adjulation and benefits of it. 3 score and 10 was the goal and you made it, unfortunately that was it.

I'm never going to get used to not calling you to sing and organizing to go to Red Lobster. I miss you more than a caption can ever articulate.

Happy Birthday Mom 💜🎉🙏🏿🫂🥺 by @itsjus_2easy
