Throughout this year I’ve seen you do the impossible. I’ve seen you power through the most difficult challenges with grace. I’ve seen you achieve new heights and it’s inspired me to continuously grow and do the same. You are my greatest inspiration and I am honored to be able to call you my wife 🥹💝 I love you more than mere words could ever express and I’m so thankful for the blessing of doing life by your side. You are the most gorgeous, intelligent, talented, and just all-around impressive dream of a person I have ever known and even knew could exist. Today marks one year of true love with you @itgirl_imani ❤️ If someone would’ve told me that I would find someone as beautiful, talented, loving, supportive, intelligent, fun, funny, and God-fearing as you to call my wife I don’t think I would’ve believed them. I’ve told you before that you have the heart of Christ in the way you display love. The true definition of love is an action. I often marvel at the woman and simply the person you are. Watching how you navigate through life up close and personal inspired me to grow this year in ways I haven’t grown in my whole life. I’m better because of you. I’m healthier because of you physically, mentally, emotionally, and above all else spiritually. I’ve never felt this level of peace in my life. I thank God for you every day and ask that He leads me as I care for you. Through every challenge we’ve faced we’ve worked as a team to overcome and I can’t wait to see all the continuous fruit to come from all the seed sown and foundation laid. You are my greatest assignment and it is an honor to make loving you the way you need it my everyday mission. Cheers to 1 year of us 🥂💒 I love you to the moon and back 💘 Happy Anniversary and thank you for the gift of you 👸🏾🤎 by @itskjcarter

It’s crazy when you fantasize for years of what it will be like to find your dream person for yourself. I remember dreaming of the idea of you. I made a list of qualities I learned that I needed, things I would like, and things that would be cool but didn’t expect would happen. I prayed over that list. I prayed that God would prepare me to be the person you needed. That my weaknesses would be your strengths, and vise versa. God told me the areas I needed to grow in. God led me to therapy, little did I know, in preparation for you. My whole life I’ve been a planner and I always wanted to have everything perfect and in order before meeting you. I told my therapist at the time and expressed to him that I felt I should to be at a certain level of stability in order to be ready for the Gift that would soon be you. I posed this statement to him, thinking I’m being responsible, and I’ll never forget his reply. He asked me at what point would I know I’ve built enough stability and asked me to give him a number estimate of how much money it would take. I couldn’t give him a number. I realized at that point that the goalpost would continue to move because there’s always more money to be made, always a bigger house, always a better job, etc. My therapist then posed a question and asked me how did I know God isn’t going to use that person to unlock that next level I’m trying to get to.” At that moment Proverbs 16:9 came alive to me in a way I never paid attention to before. “Man makes plans but God orders the steps.” I was spending so much time trying to relying on self when I needed to put it all in God’s hands. I was delaying my own blessing through disobedience by not letting go and letting God do His already finished work. Thank you @itgirl_imani for being my reason to grow as a person, and in my relationship with the One who blessed me with you ❤️ God proved His Word to be true by giving me you because you truly are exceedingly abundantly and above all I ever dreamed of. You were and are everything on that list I made years ago including the things I didn’t expect to come true. You are my forever proof that God is present and answers prayers ✝️ by @itskjcarter

🥂 Cheers to the photographer 🥂

My Love 💌 I tear up as I even type this up lol 🥹 But I just want to take a moment on the timeline to say I love you to Heaven and back ❤️ You truly are the most amazing person I’ve ever been blessed to know. I tell you often how impressed and inspired I am of you but that doesn’t even begin to describe my awe for how God truly made you. Beauty matched only by your heart. You have been such a rock in our marriage and I just want to say I see you and appreciate you more than words can express because you have been the most amazing wife I could’ve ever imagined possible ❤️ If others only knew the things God has already brought us through together already it would be a NY Times Best Seller lol. But throughout you have been such an examples of 1 Corinthians 13. Love as defined by the One who created it truly conquers all and I just want to say thank you for being on this journey with me. There is no one else I could do this with and I am honored God allowed me the privilege to do it with you. Through all the obstacles and trials thrown our way you remain a constant reminder and example of what it means to love. Thank you for being you. I love you so so much and thank God for my forever greatest Gift- Naomi Carter 💝👸🏾🥹💌 by @itskjcarter
