Everyone thinks Maldives = €10K. It wasn’t. Full breakdown incoming, my Dawls 🥥 (and yes I’ll tell you the hotel names)

This was the most expensive thing for the whole trip. Don’t be scared yet tho. It will calm down - I promise. Just keep swiping 🥹👉🏼

23€/night for local island guesthouses instead of resort prices. I’ll tag our hotels and the hotel we wanna stay in when going there again (the one on the picture).
In Omadhoo we stayed at kirulhiya.
In Guraidhoo we stayed at Valley palm seaview. Both amazing hotels!
We would’ve loved to stay at Kuri Inn as well.

Eating out twice a day, every day, for $15pp. Local island restaurants > resort menus, every single time. You have to try „Roshi“, so good!

The cost nobody warns you about. Speedboat is worth it — the public ferry is cheaper but barely runs and won’t get you everywhere + it’s slower.

On Omadhoo we didn’t book any excursions, because we had the beach and the riff with sharks, sting rays and lots of fishes🦈 In Guraidhoo we did two. €80 for the excursion pp, drone shots and underwater camera included. Worth every cent for the content alone. We booked with our hotel @valley_palm_seaview

€1,500 per person. 10 nights. Everything included — flights, stay, food, boats, excursions. No hidden extras.

Save this for the next “must be nice” 💅 It wasn’t luck, it was research, local islands and a plan. Which destination should I break down next — Thailand or Kenya? Follow for more 🤍 by @itslitaa.a

I always wondered how it feels like for people to go home from vacation which is a vacation country 🤔 by @itslitaa.a

Ngl Goa and especially @thecapegoa was one of our favorite parts out of the whole India trip.
The views are literally breathtaking, you don’t even wanna stop looking at it.

I would say „trust me“ but that’s against my own rule, I guess 😭👀
Don’t make the same mistakes we made in India, so here are my set rules for the next time and for you to save!
Do you have any other ones?

Is Jaipur worth the 4 hour drive?

Short answer: yes. Even with just a day, the Hawa Mahal and the City Palace made every minute in the car worth it.

I didn’t get to see everything I wanted though, so I put together a list of the spots I’d add next time. 👀

Comment „Jaipur“ and I’ll send you the plan!

Might be my favorite questions of all time!
You know that video with the „this circle ⭕️ is your business & this is mine. Why is your business in mine?“ - That’s exactly what comes to my mind 🤡

✈️ 584 € round trip from Frankfurt to New Delhi. We flew with @omanairofficial and booked with @skyscanner
+ 120 € roundtrip for the Delhi to Goa flight. It’s actually very cheap but we had to book bags extra.
My tip: book midweek and set price alerts. It really helps!

ONLY BOOK THROUGH UBER - yes, even your TukTuk.
Do not accept cabs on the street. If you’re in Goa download the Goa Miles app as they don‘t have Uber.
🛺 2–10 € per ride, and TukTuks are usually the cheapest option. If you feel comfortable, rent a scooter. We rented a car in Goa for 3 days: 50 € + 30 € for gas and 30€ caution. Another scam tho… wanna know more?

Listen, don’t accept any tour offers. Just don’t do it 😭 We regret it. Just take the train.
📍 Delhi → Agra → Jaipur → Delhi for 155 € per person. The hotel in Jaipur, the car ride and a tour guide were included.

🍛 5–15 € per meal with a drink, eating out 2 times a day. Local food is always cheaper (and better). For street food, pick places where the staff wear gloves and hair caps. Our most expensive bill was 20€ p.P with 2 big bottles of water, 4 drinks, two mains and one dessert with the best view ever.

💭 Learn from my mistakes:
1️⃣ Skip the tours and tour guides. Just book an Uber and go where you want to go.
2️⃣ Don’t trust anyone, especially people who say „it’s dangerous here, don’t talk to others.“
3️⃣ Check the registration before you rent a car or scooter.

🏨 266 € per person for 11 nights. Please watch out for scams: they love using AI pictures, and our first hotel was one 🙈 We ended up in 4 hotels and 1 Airbnb in total.

💸 ~1650 € per person, 11 nights, everything included. Souvenirs and the visa were extra. Would you do it? For me it was worth every cent 🐚

I’ve been on so many solo trips and I’ve always came back with so many unforgettable memories, more people to chat with, getting to know them from all over the world. Being alone is actually so peaceful and no it’s not boring and it’s ok if you’re shy.

Even tho know I’d rather spend it with my mans ngl 🥺
