From meritorious Corporal to meritorious Sergeant, and now meritorious Staff Sergeant. This journey has been nothing short of humbling.

I never imagined myself as a 23 year old Staff Sergeant, let alone just 5 years into my Marine Corps career. This organization has given me so much, and I’m incredibly grateful I chose to earn the title of United States Marine.
I’ve been fortunate to have leaders who believed in me from the very beginning, people who pushed me, supported me, and saw potential in me that I was still learning to see in myself. None of this happened overnight but having people who saw something greater in me is what has led to this moment.
What a blessing it has been to not only have great leadership, but also family and friends who have helped me balance motherhood, my fitness journey, school, and military life all at once. That support has meant everything to me.

I’m forever humbled and thankful for every opportunity and every blessing God has placed in my path. This is only the beginning.🤍

“With God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

Homeowner at 22 🏡🔑 I’m still in awe of how God made everything fall into place, especially during moments when I felt like giving up. I’m beyond grateful for my parents’ unwavering support and help throughout this journey. This is our first home purchase, and certainly not our last! Thank you God for blessing me with the strength to make this dream a reality.🦋 by @itslorita

✨I RAN 26.2 MILES✨

Never in my life did I imagine I’d run an entire marathon.
Running has shaped me into the person I am today, teaching me that I’m capable of the unthinkable.
Just 18 months ago, I gave birth to the sweetest little boy and truly believed I’d never run the way I did before pregnancy again. But I proved myself wrong. I’ve accomplished more now, as a mother, than I ever did before.
This marathon was more than just 26.2 miles. It was my testimony. A reminder that my journey through motherhood is only just beginning. Every drop of sweat and every tear shed during training was worth it.
From the breathtaking views, to the energy of the crowd, to the hilarious signs along the way..I tried to soak it all in. My first marathon and surely not my last.
A time was DEFINITELY had.
Thank you, MCM. You’ll always have a special place in my heart.❤️

One thing that has really motivated me to keep going is how many people have told me that I’ve inspired them in so many ways.

This shit is bigger than myself. I do this to motivate and inspire others. Of course I love doing it, and I’ll keep doing it until the wheels fall off, but that’s not even my number one reason anymore. There’s just no better feeling than pushing yourself beyond your limits, seeing how far you can go, and creating a name for yourself while knowing you’re inspiring others along the way. 💜
