Getting to experience girlhood all over again through my daughters’ eyes? 🩷🥹

The bows, the giggles, the little traditions, the magic in the smallest things. Getting to watch them grow up & create their own girlhood together, while rediscovering pieces of myself along the way is something I’ll never take for granted.

My two favorite girls in the whole world. 🎀

If you’re raising little girls too, what’s one little part of girlhood you love getting to experience again? ✨

I read about the “mother-son gravity theory” recently, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. 🤍

I’ve always heard my friends with boys talk about the bond between a mother and her son, how it’s one of the purest, sweetest, most unconditional loves they’ve ever known. I listened, but I don’t think I truly understood it until I had my own son.

And now I get it.

There is something about the way he reaches for me, looks for me, and melts into my arms that feels impossible to put into words. He may need me right now, but the truth is… I need him just as much.

It’s the kind of love that makes your heart feel like it’s living outside your body—one you want to protect with everything in you, while knowing he’ll spend his life learning to protect you, too.

I know the goal is to raise confident, strong, capable humans who eventually need us, but in a different way. However, right now I just want to soak in this season a little bit longer.

The tiny hands. The sleepy cuddles. The way he reaches for me. The way he still fits perfectly in my arms.

Because one day, his gravity will shift.

But for just a little longer, I’ll hold onto my little baby boy. 🤍

A little reintroduction because this space has grown + changed right alongside me over the years, and with so many new faces around here, it’s long overdue! 💫🦋🫶🏻👯‍♀️

Since becoming a stay-at-home mom, this space has become such a meaningful creative outlet for me, something I’ve poured my heart into. My hope is that this little corner of the internet feels like chatting with your mom bestie, where we can connect over the real, messy magic of motherhood, wellness that feels doable, beauty, style + all the little things that make life more fun!!

More than anything, I want this to be a place where moms feel understood, find inspiration, and remember that while motherhood changes so much of us, we never have to lose ourselves in it or go through it alone!

Because you can be a really good mom AND still show up for YOU, too. 🫶🏼

I’m so happy you’re here. Truly. Welcome to our little corner! 👯‍♀️🦩🫶🏻💫🦋

Forever a fan of a mom uniform that doesn’t scream “I’m wearing my mom uniform.”

It really is that simple. 🤍

The big moments, the little ordinary ones, and everything in between. Of all the things I’ll ever accomplish, giving them a childhood they’ll want to relive for years to come and a home that will forever feel like their safe place will always be the most important.

One thing motherhood has taught me? Never underestimate the power of little habits. 💫

I’ve become such a fan of habit stacking, especially on Sundays. The little things I consistently do to set myself up for the week make such a difference in making each day feel a little lighter and more manageable, even in the middle of the chaos.

That escalated quickly. 🫣

From Franzia in a frat basement to questioning the ingredients in literally everything my family eats, drinks, touches and breathes. I guess we all grow up eventually???

Please tell me I’m not the only one!?!? 😂

A little reminder that postpartum doesn’t have a timeline, healing isn’t linear, and you can love your life + your babies more than anything in this world and STILL have hard days.

Some days feel light, beautiful + full of joy. Other days, it feels like the walls are caving in. And sometimes, those days exist right alongside each other. Both can be true.

This feels like a more vulnerable post for me to share, but I think it’s important to talk about the parts of motherhood we don’t always see or feel comfortable saying out loud.

This third postpartum has taught me SO much. After struggling with PPD + PPA in the past, I’ve learned how important it is to be honest with myself about how I’m really doing.

I’ve always been the first to give grace to everyone else, but the last to give it to myself. This time around, I’m moving through this season of motherhood with my eyes a little more open, learning to offer myself the same compassion, patience + understanding I’d give to my kids.

Whether you’re freshly postpartum, 7 months in, or 2 years down the road, I hope you know you’re not alone. There’s no timeline for healing, and this journey looks different for everyone.

We’re figuring it out together. 🤍🫶🏼
