Praying for Rain EP is 4 years old today ☔️

This was my first every project and I am so proud of it. Praying captures my mind in a moment of time. One where I was struggling with depression, wondering if my life would ever change, and feeling nostalgic for simpler times. I can feel the raw emotion throughout the songs... the loneliness in "People Watching" and the grim determination to keep moving forward even if I don't know where my steps will lead me in "Keep Onin."

I am so proud of the maturity I possessed at 22 years old and I am so proud of how far I've come. Mentally, I am stronger and have learned so much about myself. Artistically, music as a medium has become as natural as using my right hand. As fluent as if it were my first language even though I discovered it much later in my life.

This anniversary makes me feel such love and appreciation for the folks I collaborated with and for younger Zöe's bravery to put her heart out into the world and still see the best in it all.

Thank you for your support and believing in the vision of my music even from the rough beginnings. It really means the world to me. Give the EP a listen, its the perfect contemplative fall record. I know I've got it on replay.

Cheer's to 4 years!
