My son Kenan is four months old. After a bacterial infection, he keeps throwing up his milk.

He needs anti-reflux (AR) milk, two cans a week. Since the closure, one can went from 100 to 250 shekels. So I buy whatever cheaper milk I can find.

If you can help, the link is in my bio.

For you, it’s only $5. But fors my children and me, it could mean hope, food, and another chance at life. ❤️ by @itsmemaudeholly

💔 My Story: Loss, Displacement, and Hope

My name is Omar Abu Meiry, from Deir al-Balah, Gaza, Palestine. 🇵🇸

My wife Sarah and I have endured pain no parents should ever experience. We lost our children to a rare hereditary disease called Brown-Vialetto-Van Laere syndrome. Our son Shihab died in 2021, our son Sanad in 2022, and we also lost our daughter Hanin before birth. These losses left wounds in our hearts that words cannot describe.

We desperately want answers and access to specialized genetic testing and medical care. Despite everything, we still dream of becoming parents again, with proper medical guidance and the hope of having healthy children.

Then war destroyed much of the life we had built. We lost our home, agricultural land, farm, and source of income. We were displaced from eastern Deir al-Balah to western Deir al-Balah, and today we struggle to meet our most basic needs.

We face daily uncertainty about food, clean water, safe shelter, and medical care. Without a stable income, rebuilding our lives feels almost impossible.

My greatest hope is to reach a specialized hospital outside Gaza for genetic counseling, testing, and fertility treatment, while finding a safe way to access the care we urgently need.

I am sharing my story because behind every headline is a human being trying to survive, heal, and hold on to hope.

If you know a specialized hospital, doctor, or humanitarian organization that could guide us toward treatment or medical evacuation, please reach out. Even sharing our story could help us find the right people.

I have lost so much, but I have not given up. Sarah and I still hope for safety, dignity, and a chance to build a better future.

Thank you for listening and standing with us. 🤍🙏 by @itsmemaudeholly
