It’s giving… hair.
.
.
For those of you who know me, or don’t, over the course of the last 2+ years I have grown out my hair so that I could donate it to @wigs.for.kids
.
.
This time of year, when we’re all thinking about gift giving, please consider giving something of yourself to something greater than yourself.
.
.
This donation is particularly in honor and in memory of @stephbizz14
.
.
It’s funny cuz I’ve donated in honor of my mother and now Steph and honestly the parallels between this strong, take no sh*t, need no help from no one, I’m going to get it done my way kind of women is so funny to me.
.
.
If you can, or if you are interested please consider giving a donation to Stephanie Bissonnette Memorial Fund and Scholarship through the GoFundMe, link in my Bio. We are using the funds to support future dancers and provide opportunities while keeping Steph’s memory alive.

You’re supposed to have a witty caption for these things.

Last year was very tough, I wasn’t in a great place mentally and I chose to train for the marathon as something to give me a little focus. Then, as the story goes, I made it 16.5 miles, to quit due to covid.
.
.
This year, attempt number 2, we had success. If training has taught me anything it’s no 2 runs are the same. You can have your pace, but what are the other variables, weather, temperature, nutrition, course. Running has taught me to be more gracious with myself, just because something isn’t “perfect” doesn’t mean it’s “wrong” There is so much good in the grey area in between.
.
.
I’m grateful for the ability to run, I’m grateful for my support system, and I’m not hanging up my shoes yet. Who knows?

New Chief… who dis?
.
.
.
After 6 years of tenure, over 4,000 classes taught (very rough estimate) and 15,000 dad jokes (precise calculation) I’ve made it to the top, and I’m not goin anywhere. I’m excited to announce I’ve been promoted to a Chief Instructor @barrys and I look forward to continuing to work hard, crack jokes and make you sweat!
.
I pride myself on taking the stress and anxiety out of the workout and providing a fun, borderline silly, environment for you to push yourself. I want to thank my peers and my everyone @barrys for trusting me and the product I put forward on a day to day basis.
.
Lastly a congrats to my fellow NY baddies on their prospective Chief-hood. If you haven’t checked them out yet, you’re missing out.
.
Congrats @lindseyclayton23 @mgriff011 @thejennifersimpson @lskolkin

Retired, not broken.
