One of a few new projects I’ve been working on this year. Finally got round to putting together my own website.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

Big big thanks to @clintsaliba and @richfirth for putting it together, @sarahcachiafalzon and @cedricvellafilms for the reel and @krismicallefphoto for the website photos. 🫶 by @itspeterborg

It’s funny how life works. When I was a young guitarist starting my band Red Electric, our first producer Howard introduced us to British indie rock and somehow in the process I stumbled upon ‘Generator’.

The song is by a band called The Holloways and was a big hit in the UK, China and other parts of the world back in 2007.

Fast forward to 2020, I was introduced to Alfie (the frontman) for a session in London with Ed Abela. We wrote a really good song (which unfortunately is still sitting on my computer) and went on to write many more during our time with Reservoir Media, the publishing company we were both part of.

Last year, Alfie asked me to join The Holloways on their UK tour, which was 6 gigs and a lot of fun. This year, he called me again to play at the 20th anniversary show of the album that includes the exact same song I used to listen to all those years ago.

We played a gorgeous intimate gig to paying fans. The kind of gigs I miss, in the kind of venues that don’t really exist in Malta anymore. (I definitely did not miss carrying 2 Vox AC30s and a heavy bass amp into the van.)

Anyway, a bit of a full circle moment which I wanted to share. :-) by @itspeterborg

Luke’s debut album is coming soon and I genuinely love every song on it. We worked through many songs we wrote together and narrowing them down to our favourites wasn’t easy. I can’t wait for you to hear this album. For now, enjoy this one! 🫶
