Tried to find the “reality” part of Fairbanks, Alaska 🏔️ Spoiler: there isn’t one. The northern lights over the boreal forest, the snow-covered spruce trees, the frozen Chena River... it all looks exactly like the photos just better. If you’re planning an Alaska winter vacation, here are my favorite things to do in Fairbanks in the wintertime ❄️ 🎅 Visit Santa Claus House Just a short drive away in North Pole, Alaska, this is Christmas all year long. Meet Santa, see his reindeer, shop for ornaments, and send a letter postmarked from the North Pole. It’s a must for families and anyone who’s a kid at heart. ♨️ Soak at Chena Hot Springs About an hour outside Fairbanks, these natural hot springs are pure magic in winter. Picture soaking in steaming mineral water while snow falls around you, and if you’re lucky, the aurora borealis lights up the sky overhead. 🐕 Go dog sledding Alaska is the home of mushing, and riding behind a team of excited huskies through snowy trails is unforgettable. Many tours let you meet the dogs, learn about sled dog culture, and even try driving the sled yourself. 🧊 See the World Ice Art Championships Every late winter, Fairbanks hosts Ice Alaska, one of the biggest ice sculpture competitions in the world. Carvers from around the globe turn massive blocks of ice into glowing works of art, and the kids’ park with ice slides is a total highlight. 🌌 And of course, chase the northern lights Fairbanks sits right under the auroral oval, making it one of the best places on Earth to see the aurora borealis from late August through April. Save this for your Alaska trip planning ✈️ I plan stress-free Fairbanks vacations, from aurora viewing to hot springs and dog sledding, so you can just show up and enjoy. DM me “ALASKA” to start planning ✨ Thank you so much for being part of our community @itsTripEasy, you make it special! 🤍 by @itstripeasy
Every other minute… wow, look at that! Trust me, it’s the same mountain for the last three hours 🤣 but it’s still amazing. Thank you for following @itsTripEasy for your travel inspiration! by @itstripeasy
How long can I pretend to admire the view and be secretly trying to catch my breath 😂 Them: “Cool. Anyway, let’s jog up the mountain.” 🏃‍♂️💨 Meanwhile I’m in the back negotiating with my lungs, updating my will, and wondering if Uber does trail pickups. ⛰️☠️ Tag the friend who says “it’s an easy hike” and then casually leads you straight into a National Geographic documentary. 😂🥾 Follow @itsTripEasy for more travel stuff ✈️🌎 by @itstripeasy
I can’t eat another bite 😋 it’s so good tho! The original Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory still lives in Whistler Village 🍫 📍 4293 Mountain Square, Whistler BCThis is where the brand started back in 1988. You can still watch them make fudge and chocolate by hand on the granite slab while the smell of caramel and cocoa fills the air. Grab a Grizzly Claw, a chocolate-dipped ice cream bar, or a bag of whatever just came off the slab — it’s one of those easy Village stops that always hits after a day on the mountain. Okay settle a debate for me 👇 What color IS this? It’s not harsh orange. It’s not pure yellow. It’s something in between and I am obsessed 🌅 Is it peach? Apricot? Golden rose? Drop what you think in the comments, I need to know I’m not the only one staring at this. There’s something about sunrise colors that just hits different. Not the loud, look-at-me orange of sunset. This is softer. Quieter. Like the sky is waking up gently and letting you watch. If this showed up on your feed right when you needed a little calm, that’s not a coincidence. Send this to someone who needs a deep breath today 💛 Thank you for following @itsTripEasy by @itstripeasy
The moment you knew… POV: the hike was supposed to be “just a quick morning walk” and now you’re 4 miles in questioning all your life choices, but then the view hits and suddenly it was all worth it 🥾🏔️ This is your sign to add more adventure travel to your life. The best hiking trails aren’t found on your couch. They’re found when you lace up, get outside, and chase the kind of views that make your legs burn and your heart happy. Mountain hiking, forest trails, waterfall hikes, sunrise summits. Outdoor adventure is the cheapest therapy there is, and nature never disappoints. So here’s your hiking tip for today: pick a trail, any trail, and just go. Your bucket list hikes aren’t going to hike themselves. Save this for your next hiking adventure and send it to the friend who always says “we should go hiking sometime” 😂 Your next adventure is waiting. Go find it. Thank you for following @itsTripEasy 💛 by @itstripeasy
🚗😂 could either become your favorite memory… or the reason you need a vacation from that person. Think about it: endless snacks, questionable playlists, wrong turns, gas station stops, and HOURS together in one car. 👀 Who’s your road trip partner? Tag them in the comments and let’s see if they’re up for the adventure! 🗺️⛽ And thank you for following @itsTripEasy! ✈️🌎 Here’s to more road trips, weekend getaways, and adventures worth remembering. ❤️ by @itstripeasy
😂😂 The way we’ll turn a random Tuesday into an international incident. No questions, just boarding passes. ✈️💀 Send this to your partner in crime 😭 @itsTripEasy for your travel information!! by @itstripeasy
This is the hike your bucket list needs 🥾🇨🇦 The High Note Trail in Whistler, British Columbia — about 5.8 miles (9.4 km) of pure alpine magic ✨ Here’s how you get there: ride the Whistler Gondola up to the Roundhouse Lodge, walk the Peak Express Traverse to the Peak Express Chairlift, and ride it all the way to Whistler Peak at 7,160 feet (2,182 metres) 🏔️ Then comes the best part — cross the Cloudraker Skybridge, a 427-foot (130-metre) suspension bridge hanging high above the Whistler Bowl with 360-degree views of the Coast Mountains, and finish at the Raven’s Eye viewing platform 😍 The trail itself winds past the turquoise waters of Cheakamus Lake and iconic Black Tusk. Plan for 3 to 5 hours, bring sunscreen (there’s barely any shade up there), and leave the pups at home — no dogs allowed. Save this one. This trail is worth the trip. And if you want to hike it without lifting a finger on the planning, I’ll handle the flights, the stay, the gondola tickets, all of it. Come talk to me at @itsTripEasy 💛 by @itstripeasy
