IVSFF 2026 opens with a panel of experts who share their point of view of how literature is integral in storytelling. by @ivs_communicationdesign
🎬 IVS Film Festival 2026 is officially underway! We kicked off the fourth edition of IVSFF2026 with a thought-provoking conversation on “How Stories Travel: From Literature to Film”, featuring some of Pakistan’s most distinctive voices in storytelling: Sania Saeed, Muhammad Ehteshamuddin, Farhat Ishtiaq and Christie Marie Lauder, moderated by Aymen Qureshi. From the intimacy of reading a novel to the collective experience of cinema, the panel explored what gets lost, what transforms, and what comes alive when stories move from page to screen. The conversation also delved into the realities of censorship, creative freedom and the responsibility of telling stories that reflect our lives. The message for the next generation of filmmakers was clear: tell stories that are true to you. Explore Pakistan. Question what you see. And when the difficult stories need to be told, find creative ways to tell them. And this is just the beginning. 🎥 On September 12 and 13, IVSFF2026 continues with screenings of 33 short films by emerging filmmakers from across Pakistan, alongside panels, workshops and conversations with leading voices from the film and media industry, including Syed Meesum Naqvi, Meher Jaffri, Alyna Farooqi, Javed Sheikh, Faiza Saleem and Nabeel Qureshi. by @ivs_communicationdesign
