Another @n.a.nonsuri in the books! Good hangs as always, and thankfully nicer weather than LA/ OC (somehow). Lots of new and familiar faces, and lots of fun 😁 Thanks to @moonlightrunners for hosting as always and @applevalleyspeedway for providing the venue! Also thanks to everyone who bought something from me, I didn't expect that tbh 🤣

It's been a long month, and an especially packed weekend with both @japaneseclassiccarshow and nonsuri back to back! But grinding out the new hood and then hanging with friends both days was worth it. Might just be getting sick now though from the craziness but hopefully not 😆
Will be posting some pictures later or tomorrow! Nothing crazy, I ended up hanging out more than taking pictures this year for a change haha.
Also I definitely didn't totally fall flat on my back and nobody definitely saw that nope.
Anyways, until next post!

Still kinda riding the nonsuri high haha. I'm pretty excited still with how the car came together and I'm really stoked to put some of my new ideas into motion as well.

Won't be in time for any car shows this year, but I'll try to have everything ready by this time next year at the latest haha. I need to start working on the Lexus and getting the supra running too.

It has been a slightly stressful fee days, but luckily I got the real ones to hang with to bring out the joy and help get me back on track! There's a storm brewing though, but hoping it'll subside without anything crazy happening haha.

If you've followed me for the last couple years you'd know I've been dealing with a large headache with Ricardo "Ricky" Garcia a.k.a. NiftyBuiltWheels regarding my set of hiro v1 wheels. First slide is a testimony from a Facebook fellow who was the most recent I could find who got scammed.
.
I've compiled some screenshots of correspondence between us as well as testimonies from other people who have also been scammed by him (very condensed as I have about 30+ more than what's shown, as well as dozens more text conversations archived that won't fit in a post, all had been submitted in court though).
.
Long story short though, I dropped off my wheels in late 2023, and thru 2 years of excuses and over a grand in money later, I was left with wheels that I could not use and still needed at least 1500$ of work on. My lips were destroyed and my hardware gone. I was only refunded 200$ all of which I was given in single 1 dollar bills. I took this to court, won, attempted to collect multiple times and have had 0 luck. Therefore I am bringing this to the publics attention in hopes nobody else gets scammed and those of us who have been get justice and the scammer faces much deserved consequences.
.
I have given him more than enough chances and he has all my payment information and has been asked to pay me since late 2024 and now owes me 1550$ via the courts ruling and I have received 0$ of that judgement.
Police reports have been filed and certified mail has been sent multiple times to no avail.
Fuck scammers. I gave this guy plenty of chances and he took my charity and abused and soiled it.

@larry_chen_foto x @typesauto x @pennzoil pre @formulad Night Lights event!
Always a fun event, happened to be right in the middle of a sema crunch project involving multiple all nighters but definitely glad I made it out! Got to hang out with the homies @smellypanda @kinokashi and ran into a few other friends as well! Much needed breather from all nighter projects and gave me motivation to fix a bunch of stuff and get some new interior tidbits installed.
Til next year!

WE MADE IT WHEW
Absolute hell of a month trying to get ready for @japaneseclassiccarshow and @n.a.nonsuri but I finally got the hood done! Lots of issues with shipping and sourcing parts which led to everything being crammed into a short amount of time but I'm really happy I got everything done! Swipe for progress pictures, from rough ideas to finish!

Some pictures from the small gathering to see @nkjapan_89 car being stateside!
Very cool to see and big thanks to @moonlightrunners_ms_moon for the opportunity 🙌
Didn't get many pictures but I'll try to pull some dashcam of driving! Should have some video there of the bikes too, seeing them all together was really cool!
Hopefully will see more of this car in the future, very cool to have more kaido racers from Japan in the states! East x West kaido racer community 🤝

Hope y'all staying cool in this weather too!
