“We need to free the animals!” Cosplay: Maria Movie: the Book of Life Photographer: @chozen_cosplay HANDMADE I am so in love with how flowy this skirt came out and honestly such a challenge sewing all the tiny trims and I’m so happy with how it came out! November 1st is el día de los angelitos and is the day we honor children and infants who have passed away and this year we had the unfortunate departing of one of the first kids in the family, my aunts first born and only family member that was special needs… Adrian was a very smart kid and very loved. He was also the only kid in our family to have been able to have met my grandma before she passed. He had so many difficulties since birth and overcame many of the things the doctors told him he wouldn’t be able to do. He had an infectious laugh and it’s something I still hear in my head when I think of him. He passed this year and he has been dearly missed by everyone in the family. He also really loved balloons a lot too the sound it would make when he would pull on them. Although he passed too soon, I’m happy that he’s not alone up there and that my grandma is able to watch over him now and see how much he’s grown since the last time she saw him when he was so small. I love and miss you Adrian and thank you for being born into our family. Happy heavenly 25th birthday to you and I hope you were able to get the balloons your mom and Tia and brother sent you…. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #thebookoflife #thebookoflifecosplay #diadelosmuertos #ofrenda #cosplay by @izziebellacosplay
“Always play from your heart.” Cosplay: Maria Movie: Book of Life Photographer: @chozen_cosplay Convention: @animepasadena HANDMADE Book of life has always been a favorite movie of mine and also at some point I plan of cosplaying La muerte. I made this cosplay about a few months ago for a family posada for my mother in laws birthday. She had a costume contest and ofcourse the first thing I thought of doing that wouldn’t be a full cosplay was Maria and for how simple it is, it was quite the challenge. It’s been so nice getting in touch with my Hispanic roots and learning more of my family background and spending time with family more than cosplay. It’s been a really nice refresher because there’s also been pain in that too. This year I lost my son, my pet, my best friend, and my spirit animal Butters. He lived a happy 9 1/2 years life eating as many worms, roaches, and fruits as he could dream of and being loved endlessly. I got him back with an Ex and when we split I took butters since he was what I chose to keep. But when moving into my place In Oceanside, I asked my mom to take him in since I didn’t have room with the single room I was renting at the time. Since that day forward he was no longer mine but my mother’s son now and he was so much happier being around more people than just me in a room. Everyone loved to see him and he had so much curiosity and of-course gave us a few scares. He passed this year and my family and I miss him dearly. This year, my brother and I decided to honor him and make a suprise ofrenda for his first year not with us at my mom’s house. Many tears were shed and the house will never quite be the same but I’m so happy and thankful to have had my time with you buddy. RIP you legendary old man and I hope you are my spirit guide with whatever happens after death. . . . . . . . . . . . . #thebookoflife #thebookoflifecosplay #ofrenda #diadelosanimales #cosplay by @izziebellacosplay

I’m going to be going to the UNDERTALE symphony with a girlfriend soon and really the goal was to finish the cosplay in time for it so I’m happy with how it came out! “We shouldn’t make lightners worry about what happens to us.” Cosplay: Ralsei Game: Deltarune @toby.radiationfox Photographer: @zzwderick HANDMADE FINALLY SOME PROPER PICTURES OF THE BESTEST GOAT BOY 🥹 I was so worried since this is my FIRST fully handsewn piece but seeing how it came out I’m so freaking proud! I had a lot of trial and error with this and I suck really bad at making templates for clothing but I’m so happy I just dived into it fully. I even LINED the thing like that’s a feat in itself. I think the best part about this is that it is my one of a kind piece. There’s nothing out there like this and it’s another one to add to my vault of my original concepts of characters 🥹 also HUGE shoutout to @sksprops for the template of the hat, I definitely made it bigger than the template but honestly was SUCH a big help! And hopefully @toby.radiationfox senpai notices me 👉🏽👈🏽 . . . . . . . . . . . #ralsei #ralseicosplay #deltarune #deltarunecosplay #ralseideltarune by @izziebellacosplay
“So this is the “love triangle” and “NTR” I saw in my master’s books!” Cosplay: Jibril Anime/Manga: No Game No Life Photographer: @chozen_cosplay Convention: @animeexpo And last of this set I got and honestly so happy with all these great shots! Can’t wait to show you some more I have of this cosplay because again this was my first legit cosplay that I had seen some stuff for and upcycled a lot of this too but for how it came out, even YEARS later of making it, it still looks great! Even more with the addition of the new and upgraded wings too! 🥹 definitely going to revamp this too at some point like I do with most of my actual made cosplays but for now I’m happy and love it so much 🥹 can’t wait to see the videos that we made together because those are cute! 🥰 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #jibril #jibrilcosplay #nogamenolife #nogamenolifecosplay #animeexpo by @izziebellacosplay
